There Grace stood in the cave full of darkness which seemed to get deeper and deeper into this place. At least that's what Laura felt. There was not even a single beam of light, it was pitch black. Laura was walking around, trying to find the light but she was tripping over her long wavy brownish hair. Her head ached from too much tilting back and forth. Laura's hazel eyes were the only thing that shimmered in the gloom and from keeping the place to turn into an empty abyss of pure black.

Suddenly, a faint noise intruded the silence. The soft noise seemed to be crying for help. The nose started to fade away as Laura took a step forward. She got up from the cold solid ground and stood there, waiting for another cry.

The night was falling and moonlight appears through the holes just above the cave. With the moonlight inside, Laura could see better what was that noise. It echoed through the cave once more before becoming completely silent.

Grace took a couple of steps to what seemed a weird-looking rock until the noise became even louder than usual. She turned around and found one pair of crystal blue eyes staring at her.

It was a snowball-looking kitten.

"Look! There is something over there moving. I'm going to see what it is. You look around." A deep voice echoed through the abandoned cave, catching Grace's attention. Their footsteps seemed to get closer to where Grace was currently hiding.

Behind a humongous rock. Not really smart of her since anyone will obviously check behind them to catch their enemy. Quickly grabbing the kitten, she realized that its mother was lying next to it, wounded. It was hurt by fire. Carefully caressing the mother so she could trust Grace, Grace grabbed her slowly and placed them in her bag. After a couple of moments, she felt the weight in her bag double.

Opening her bag, she saw her little kitten scrambling around all the food she put in there. The grayish tiny animal looked up and saw her new owner. Grace held up her index finger to her numb pinkish lips and made a symbol meaning to keep quiet.

A small fireball suddenly started to circle around the black rock causing Grace to press her body firmly against it to try to make herself part of the rock. The flames of the fireball seemed to light up brighter detecting some kind of symbol to the owner.

Arguing a couple of times, Grace decided to escape her position. She carefully got up and immediately looked around her cautiously.

Water was dripping from above as wind came in. The fireball was still circling around the rock slowly.

Grace finally escapes tip-toeing outside when suddenly, the snow beneath her feet was turned to liquid. Firebenders.
