"Don't do that, it's not good," said Tina O'Donnell to her five-year-old daughter, Ava who kicked off a small chair which was in front of her. The small chair was almost broken as Ava kicked it hardly. She sighed heavily. A peaceful morning was not started by a smile but it all began with the nags of Tina. Headaches were normal for Tina. Her pale face seemed whiter than before. Tears on her cheeks had already dried as nobody didn't wipe her tears. Suffering a cancer made Tina stronger. Eventually she didn't need someone to be with her all the time.

"Mommy! Daddy's home!," yelled Ava. Tina just gave her a smile but still sat on the sofa while holding a book to read. She couldn't barely move. Her strength was getting lower day by day. Tina was in her room, she got her eyes on her daughter. Tina called Ava with a sign by her hand. Ava came closer with a small amount of steps to be close to her Mom.

"Be a good girl okay? Don't be naughty. Go ahead and kiss Dad. Remember don't bite his nose," whispered Tina, reminding Ava. Ava was a naughty  girl. She couldn't be passive. She would always be aggressive all the time. Last time, Ava bit her Dad's nose due to the feeling of being so happy. Fortunately, her Dad could be patient with what she had done. Tina couldn't move much as her disease was getting worse and it made her life more difficult. She had a liver cancer.

"Okay Mommy!," said Ava, leaving her Mom. People said her daughter looked so much like her. She had a pair of brown eyes. A pale-yellowish skin that she had, it really suited her dark-browned hair. Her short black hair. She couldn't have a long hair due to cancer. She had to keep her hair shot. Her medium-shaped mouth always had a sincere smile on it although she had no energy to do much things. But, Ava was a bit different than her. Ava had a long dark-browned hair. Tina always made her hair into a ponytail. Ava, the only child she had with Leo, Ava's Dad.

"Daddy, can I have a short hair like Mummy?," said Ava who was carried by Leo. Leo just got into the room with his daughter was in his arms. Leo looked at his beautiful wife romantically. He looked at her like the way all women wanted to be looked at. He walked leisurely to Tina and sat next to her. Leo still hadn't answered his daughter's question. The sound of Tina's breath could be heard by him. Her hair kept falling and it looked thinner than before. His wife looked smaller and slimmer.

Tina, the lady who stole his heart a few years ago. He fell for her. He loved her so much. He also loved their daughter, Ava who was growing healthily now. Tears bursted out of his eyes, seeing his wife was getting sicker day by day. He tried to find cure for her. He worked harder to get money to buy the best medicine for her but the parasites inside her body seemed like couldn't be fought anymore. Ava who was still in his hands, wiped her Dad's tears. Tina hugged her husband as she saw Leo couldn't control his emotion.

"Dad, why are you crying? Please stop crying. Mommy and Ava love you," said Ava innocently, wiping her Dad's tears with her little fingers. Tina gave Leo a kiss on his cheek. Dried-lips touched his soft cheek smoothly. He rubbed his wife's back slowly. Leo couldn't say a word. He just kept sobbing.

"Daddy, where's Mommy going?," asked Ava whose hand was in her Dad's hand. They stood next to a grave while holding hands. They were in black clothes. Leo had completed his daughter's wish. Now, her daughter had a short black hair like her mother used to have. She promised her mother to keep her hair short until forever because she wanted to look like her mother. Furthermore, she didn't even like having a long hair. Leo tried to answer her question. He thought for the best answer to answer her question.

"Mommy is going to heaven but we can't see her anymore," said Leo, leaning down to face his daughter. Leo suddenly cried, remembering the days with his wife. He loved her so much but she finally left him. She died at hospital at night like the time he proposed her years ago. She left him with a smile on her face even she was hurt. Liver cancer. The disease who killed his wife. He promised her to stay strong and look after their child nicely.

"Why?," asked Ava again, facing her Dad's face. Naive. The only word could describe how Ava reacted to her mom's death. Leo tried to find the best answer to answer his daughter's question.

"Darling, it's her turn now to stay there forever. It's a happy place. She's happy in heaven. Most importantly, she's always with us all the time. She's here," said Leo, talking Ava's small hand to put it on her chest.

"She's in our hearts" Leo whispered in Ava's ear. Ava nodded. A strong little girl, who didn't cry when her mother died. Ava finally could look like her mother. A short dark-browned hair. A pair of brown eyes. A pale-yellowish skin. A medium-shaped mouth. And, a sincere smile.

It's a flashback:). Who is Ava? How can she know Niall?. Keep it up with me and let's find out next in Chapter 1! >=D
