chapter 2 it all changed

As I open the door I looked outside the sky is black and no one is outside I look at my red watch on my wrist and the time says 12 o'clock I was confused everyone's outside the neighbor is outside swinging on the swing on the back porch mr. J Jacobs is usually mowing the grass and Todd is outside riding his bike what happened where is everyone. I take 3 steps down the stairs I hold on to the rail I'm shaking I was scared my heart was beating 3 beats faster than normal and still going on faster as I hit the sidewalk I walked over to the gate and open it I see a man I yell sir do you know what happened all of a sudden the man turns around he looks at me with a grin and says there all missing. The man was all black eyes as red as blood he had no mouth he practically had no face after he said they're all missing I turn around screaming running towards the house and all of a sudden he's there in front of my house and again he says they're all missing. So I ran out the front gate I run towards the grocery store on 3rd Street I stop over and turn left as I run I see the police station I walk inside no one's there there was blood everywhere I fell to my knees I started to cry and then he was there again the man with the red eyes and once again he said they're all missing but this time he screams loudly and says they're all missing and he keeps saying it again again they're all missing. I get up and start running screaming help someone help me I run out the front door of the police station and all of a sudden there was a man he looks normal I walk up to him and said sir can you help me he replies do you know what's going on I thought to myself and then I said no sir I do not he says there's a man Shadow character I said does he have red eyes the man says yes he has no face and he keeps saying they're all missing I replied and said what is your name sir he says my name is Jonathan what is yours I replied Toby he says how old are you Toby I replied 15 sir. He says come with me we'll stick together I promise I won't let anything hurt you. So that day me and mr. Jonathan started our journey to survive from the shadow man.
