It was time for dinner which was good because I was starving. Calum, Luke, and I followed Ashton to there dining room so we could sit and eat.
The girls Sarah and Cara went in the kitchen to help, we offered but they denied our help since we were the guests. They brought in one big bowl of spaghetti and meatballs, a big bowl full of garlic bread, a pitcher of water, and a salad to go with it. "Wow, this looks amazing" Luke said while licking his lips ready to dive in and eat.
Everyone say at the table Calum was next to Luke and Cara, Luke was next to Calum and me, Ashton was sitting beside Sarah and his Mum, finally I was beside Sarah and Luke. "Hey! I guess I'm beside you" I said jokingly to Sarah she giggled a bit like Ashton so the laughter was contagious.
"Let's eat" Ms. Irwin announced to the table hinting that she was hungry, we all reached out to grab food I went to grab a piece of bread and I accidentally grabbed someone's hand instead. I looked to see who's hand it was, it was Sarah's her hands were super soft like Johnson's Baby Lotion soft. "Oh umm sorry" I said pulling back my arm " no it's fine, here" she told me while giving me a piece of garlic bread. "Hey I ... uh like your Cobain shirt" she gave me a complement it made me feel happy and butterflies found their way into my stomach. "Thanks, I like your um... knees".
KNEES, THATS ALL I SAID COME ON CLIFFORD YOUR BETTER THAN THIS. She looked at me for a while before saying "umm...thank you?" She giggled softly and went back to eating. I'm so stupid!
"So do boys have a name for this band of yours?" Ashton's mum asked I guess Ash didn't tell his family much, just that he's in a band. "Umm 5seconds of summer Mrs. Irwin" Luke told her in response, "yeah we decided on like the 3 or something like that" I said not knowing the exact date.
"Yeah Mikey her came up with the name" Luke said proudly patting me on the back. "Really how did you come up with the name?" Sarah asked interested while twirling pasta onto her fork, "I just came to me during school no thought was really put into it." I said in a nice reply.
She nodded her head and went back to eating. "So you three boys don't go to the same school and my big brother do you?" Ashton's younger sister Cara asked. "No we do not, we go to Norwest Christian College." Calum's first words of the night I thought to my self and chucked quietly so no one really noticed.
We all said our thanks for the dinner which was pretty good I might say. The guys and I went into the living area and sat and talked about what we're going to be working on today. While Sarah and Cara disappeared upstairs somewhere.
I here thudding of the footsteps coming down the white soft carpet covered stairs. We looked to see who it was and I saw denim converse peeking out first then her full body showed up, it was Sarah "hey Ash im gonna get the mail real quick can I have the key to the mailbox please?" Sarah walked up to Ash grabbed the key and politely said "sorry for interrupting", "no, no, no it's fine" Luke said readying her she wasn't imposing.
She walked out and shut the door behind her so she wouldn't let any of the cool air out. We went back to talking and discussing about some song ideas and covers.
"So maybe we can do...." Ash had started to say but he was cut off by very loud scream "AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH" we heard from out side we all stood up about to go out and check out what was going on.
Before we could even reached the door the door swung open at full force and Sarah sprinting inside screaming and saying "Cara, Cara, Cara" quickly as she ran up the stairs.
Seconds later we hear 2 screaming girls upstairs freaking out over something, and then we see Sarah and Cara sprinting down the stairs and sprinting to Ash and hugging him and screaming random words.
"ASHTON YOU WILL NEVER BELIEVE WHAT JUST CAME IN THE MAIL!!!" Cara said jumping up and down. Jokingly me and the guys started jumping excitedly. "What?" Ash wondered, "THE LETTER!!!" Sarah said to excited to even breath. I see Ashton's face light up with excitement so that got us all wondering what's in the letter?
