7.Mr. Rao

Yesterday, I did it again I pushed someone who wants to connect to Me out. I don't know how many times I m gonna do it, I m tired of it but I don't want to get hurt. Maybe it's better this way.

Suddenly my phone rings, I answer it smiling.

"Hello,Mr.Rao how are you??"

I wonder why is Rishi's dad calling me we have already signed the partnership agreement.

"I m great dear,I hope you are great too,anyways wanted to discuss something with you" he said with the I get straight to business tone.

"Oh ya I m great,ya Of course tell me."

"Well I would like to talk to you directly if you don't mind can you come down to my office?" he asked

"Of course, would 1'O clock be fine?"

"Yeah would be perfect, see you then!"

"yeah bye!" I ended the call

Well interesting,we have been planning for this project collaboration for few months now.He thought I would make a good partner and proposed the offer Of course me being wanted to always expand my business I readily agreed and moreover he have a great reputation and experience.

I parked my car at the magnificent building .
Well he sure does have a great taste and again perk of having a son in construction business.

I got down from my car and straightened my dress headed towards the building, just like the outside the inside was classy the typical busy office look people busy running around,I went to the reception and was greeted by make up caked receptionist who was typing something.

"Excuse me?"

"Yes" she asked in a irritated tone looking at me from head to toe.

"Well I was wondering where was Mr. Rao's cabin" I asked her.

"Why would want to meet him? Do have an appointment?" she asked further getting irritated

Like seriously what's her problem well now I don't have time to waste and I don't take people casually who are have no work ethics

" Now instead of questioning me why don't you tell me the direction to his office " I asked In my authoritive tone.

" Well no can do, answer my questions first?"

Now I seriously got irritated I m already running late.

I dint wanna do it but do I have no choice, I just called Mr. Rao.

"Hey miss please speak to your boss" I said and gave my phone to her.

"Yes sir... of course sir... will do.it.... immediately" she was constantly nodding into the phone seems like the bitch learnt her place

She handed me my phone and showed me the direction

Well I was anyways running late so dint wanna waste time with her I left immediately.

I knocked on the door,come in came the reply I went ahead.

" I m sorry about the receptionist Niksha" he said apologetically.

"That's OK, so what's it about that you wanted to talk to me?" I asked while taking my seat.

"Well you know we need to present our project of new investment to the board of directors and also we need to fetch more people to support it for that we need to present it In Italy where the entrepreneurs are coming for annual meeting"he said

" Of course we are definitely counting on it, what about it now? " I asked

"Well the board of directors meeting is one week from now and so is the meeting in Italy" he said

"Well that's really something now,what do you have in your mind Mr. Rao?"

"Well Of course I do have something, it is that as we are partners, one of us will go Italy the other will be here, and I would like you to go to Italy Niksha!" He said

"Woah are you sure??"I asked surprised as far as I have heard he is not the person to trust someone with the important work he does it all by himself to perfection.

" Well I m because you want this project as much as I do and I have seen all your work and Of course you seem to have certain charms" he said teasingly

Damn now I get where Rishi got all his character from like father like son

And Of course he would have done his part of research before enforcing this task sure this man is definitely the Mr. Rao.

"Well I m not sure about the charm part but I m honored to represent our collaboration at the meeting" I said sincerely.

"Of course dear, I m sure you won't let me down"

"Of course sir," I said shaking our hands

"Well I'll have you mailed all the details of the projects and schedule" he said

" yeah sure!"

"Hey and by the way you are going to fly by a private jet and I insist" he said

" Well sir its OK I can manage don't take the trouble " I said

"Well trouble no way come on girl now you are going and I m not taking a no" he said with finality

"Well fine then" Rishi and his dad seriously have a lot in common.

" Great then I'll ask my pilot to get in touch with you and any one causes you trouble in the meeting the first thing you need to call me get it, you know what I mean right"

"Well Of course don't worry I'll handle haven't we seen them a lot,but still I'll call you OK dad" I said, well I have known him from quite a years before my graduation because of his daughter we met, he is always protective and in absence of my dad I see a father figure in him even though he maintain a lot of professional aura.

"Well that's my girl go now" he said

Well now I should start working on presentation I don't want to go to den full of lions without preparation and this is really a great chance to prove myself.
