Hollywood has lost its creativity. Yup, that’s right. Going through MOST of the TV series developed by Hollywood, mainly those that deal with police/detective/FBI/CIA work, I have come to the conclusion that creativity is drying up when it comes to the bad guys. In the 90’s, most action movies had diversity you know. I’m talking about stuff like Die Hard or Jackie Chan’s movies or etc etc … Bad guys in movie A would be Russian, in B Vietnamese, in C Chinese (of course other ethnicities and nationalities could NEVER be bad ... NOOOO !! That is absolutely ridiculous ‘cause you know the other 191 countries only have law-abiding citizens) … BACK TO OUR POINT! Why has Hollywood lost its creativity? Muhammad, Ahmed, Aziz … Why am I listing random Arabic names? It’s because, apparently, when it comes to terrorists and bad guys, Hollywood can only have them Arabic and of course Muslim. And THAT, my friends, is why Hollywood has lost creativity.
9/11, Al-Qaeda, Taliban: Events and organizations that the world has attributed to Islam. And all of a sudden, all Muslims are terrorists. Before you start going all crazy on me, calling me names and whatnot, hear me out.
Let’s take the following example: A man studied Newton’s Law, specifically, the one regarding gravity. He studied it CORRECTLY and, hence, knew that if a person would jump off the Empire State building, said person would die. This man, let’s call him H, became a teacher. He held a class titled: Newton’s Laws, Gravity Explained. He however, did NOT teach Newton’s law truthfully, but instead, chose to tell his students, that a man can survive the jump mentioned above. His students became teachers and went on to teach their students what he had taught them.
1) Can we say H actually taught Newton’s Law? Or did he teach a whole new law (where gravity does NOT exist) but still named it after the original right law?
2) When a student, who has received lessons by H or those who followed his teachings, jumps off the ESB, was he/she abiding by Newton’s Laws or H’s???
3) Is this “jumper” to blame?
Firstly, I am going to answer question #3. “Jumper” IS to blame because he/she should not blindly accept information from ANYONE no matter how high-ranked they are. Every person must search or at least check the facts of any info he/she receives. Every person on this earth has a brain and the duty to put this brain to use regarding everything and anything that comes across him/her. When any of us is online and a stranger opens a chat with us saying they are our age, our sex, and slowly become our friends. Do we believe them directly? Do we share private info with them? NO! Because this person might be a 50 year old creep planning to kidnap us! We check the info they give us or we google (or whatever search engine you might choose) them. Same thing goes to Jumper.
On to question #2; I think if Newton were alive and saw us naming a law whereby, to put in simple words, gravity doesn’t exist and people don’t get squashed if they jump off of ESB, he would literally kill himself. Why? Because, he had spent his entire lifetime on a theory that changed the world as we know it. He put effort and work and simply his BRAINS in studying, proving, and teaching it. So, excuse me, but let’s be honest. They weren’t abiding by Newton’s Law; in fact, they did the exact opposite of what Newton said.
And finally, question #1; H did study Newton’s Law. But the law he taught should have been called H’s Law. Naming/describing a copper ring as gold does not make it gold. Right? And that’s exactly what H did. He named HIS law as Newton’s Law but he never actually taught Newton’s Law.
End of example!
Now back to the world’s view of Islam. I won’t explain it any further than saying Islam suffered a lot of H-work.
People came and studied it. (I won’t say believed in it because no Newton Law-follower would jump off of ESB … which means no Muslim “terrorizes”) Then they taught their own shenanigans giving it the name of Islam and when people started jumping off the high buildings, they said they were following Islam.
How am I so sure about this point of view? I am a Muslim, the real kind: the kind that has researched and studied and used their brain to get to the actual Law, free of all influences and teachings. And let me tell you one thing. The chances of Islam telling Muslims to kill others are the same as those of Newton saying gravity doesn’t exist: null, nil, zero, non-existent, and whatever other word in the same context.
“Either your brother in religion, or your equal in creation.”
“Never should duress be applied regarding religion and belief”
“Treat others the way you would like to be treated”
“If hatred is what is between you(plural), treat them like you would treat loved ones”
“Be the nicer”
“And if you were rude and cold-hearted, people would avoid you”
^ EVERY single quote above is either from the Quran (Holy book of Islam) or from a prominent Islamic preacher back when Islam started.
And call me crazy or call me whatever, but I don’t get how ACTUAL believers in a faith where duress is wrong, where values, love, peace, and manners are valued extremely, and where etc etc can be the same people who blow themselves up in a group of innocent people.
The simple truth is that they are NOT the same people, that Islam has nothing to do with terrorism, and that a terrorist could have been taught Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Islam, or any other religion/faith from the eyes of a person called H.
So excuse me Hollywood writers, but instead of naming all your terrorists Muhammad, Ahmad, Aziz, and may I add Gustav, Rudolph, Jing, and every other name related to any nationality/faith/religion, why don’t you simply call terrorists by their real names: neighbor, schoolmate, shopkeeper, police officer, ignorant, blind-follower, and most importantly ANYONE who surrenders the goodness inside of him/her to the dark side.
