Chapter 35: Because I had to.

|Day 2: Fun time, look alike, thoughts|

Jeonghan's pov

Weird. That girl.. She looked somehow, familiar. Where have I seen her again? Oh well.

"And the winner is... Pledis Trainees!" Heolguk announced. All the boys started cheering. Well, it was mostly Seungkwan and DK. They were getting out of control. Woozi was hitting them so they could calm down. As for me and Joshua, we were just clapping, happy that the lake was for ourselves and we get snacks!! WhoOhoo!! Wait till the rest of the members come. They'll be surprised. Hehe. Whoop whoop. Okay I'm starting to get out of control.

The campfire ended with everyone singing songs along to Joshua's guitar playing and we ate some marshmallows as well. Mhmm. It was delicious. It was still competitive so some were challenging each other to play chubby bunny. Haha.

We all went back to our cabins. I stayed with the vocal unit of course in one cabin. Since there were only 2 beds, Me and Joshua slept in the smaller one and the rest slept in the other.

I took a shower before sleeping, water dripping down from my hair as I wrapped the towel around myself. I cleaned up and dried my hair. Joshua asked if I needed help so he took the hair dyer and dried my hair for me.

"Thanks Jisoo." I said, after he finished.

"No problem!" He gave me a smile before heading out.

Suddenly there was loud voices. I went out to see that everyone was gathered in here. Omg it's so squished now.

"Wassup!" Vernon raised his hand to give me a high five.

"Ayooo!!!" Hoshi was getting excited that we all came together.

"Guys, calm down. Okay, so let's brainstorm. What do you think the first round is going to be?" Seungcheol asked.

"I feel like it's going to showcase our singing." Dino said.

"Why?"

"Idk. Instinct." He replied. Jun slapped the back of his head.

"We're suppose to think. Not guess. So think harder." He scolded the maknae.

"Thanks Jun, I really wanted to do that." Seungcheol said, making the cute maknae pout and keep on rubbing the now pinkish spot on the back of his head.

I sat down on the bench near the lake next to Mingyu.

"Hyung."

"Hmm?" I looked over to him. He looked uneasy. He hesitated to speak. "Tell me. What is it?"

"I.. Think I saw Sowon.." Mingyu said, worried.

"Sowon? As in your ex?" I asked, not sure.

"Yeah. Remember the picture I showed you with me and her?"

"Oh yeah. I remember. I saw it fell out of your pocket and you had no choice but to tell me." I chuckled.

"Well, I think she's one of the trainees." We didn't make eye contact, but I saw her talking with some dude when me and the rest of the guys went in your cabin earlier."

Hold up. She was the one earlier at the campfire whom wasn't eating the marshmallows. The only one. When she introduced herself, what was her name again? Aish. Think Jeonghan think.

"Hyung, what are you thinking about?" Mingyu asked.

"Well.. I think I saw her during the campfire earlier."

"What?!"

"Yeah. Kim Sowon. Right? She's a JYP trainee." I finally recalled her name.

"I'm glad to know that she's finally achieving her dream." He mumbled.

"Hey. Why'd you two break up? You two looked good together."

"..." There was silence. He didn't answer the question.

"It's fine if yo-" he cut me off.

"Because I had to."

Jaebum's pov

Sorry Lena. I had to let you go. I had no choice.

"Oppa! Are you daydreaming again?! Why are you thinking about her?!" Sena said. She was across from me, sipping on her Carmel latte, annoyed that no attention was on her. She hadn't gone on the trip. 1, her ankle hurt, and 2, she wanted to spend time with me.

"Why are you acting like this?" I asked her. Her eyebrows creased.

"Why? I thought you liked me?"

"Sena, that was in the past. I don't like you anymore."

"But you said you did."

"Omg, Sena snap out of it. I really don't understand why you're acting like a fake Barbie doll. Don't. What happened to the old you?" I blurted out.

"Yah! Fake? That's who Lena is. You should be focusing on me."

"Sena, please stop this act. This isn't gonna make me fall for you."

"Okay fine! I love you! Ever since we were little. But you only saw me as a sister. Then Lena came. I angry that you liked her, who you just met. So I black mailed you so you would break up with her, happy?"

"I didn't just meet Lena. She was my girlfriend but  I had to leave her because I was so busy practicing."I said, " plus I'm sorry I don't feel the same way but did you really have to black mail me?"

"Yes! I was jealous, okay?!"

I sighed. "Why continue loving me when there's already someone who loves you?"

"What are you talking about?"

"Jr."
