Macy's P.O.V

*.*.* Monday *.*.*

It was just a regular day. I came home from school, did my homework, ate dinner, then got ready for soccer. When it was about 7:00 pm I started to put on my shoes to leave for soccer practice.
"Sis, should I wear Under Armor?" My twin sister, Steph, asked as we were putting on our shoes.
"No. Just wear your track jacket. You'll get warm in the dome."
"Alright." She said. We walked out the door and into the car.
Just so you know, I'm a goalkeeper and Steph is a forward. We've always been on the same team as each other, and we both agree that we want it to stay like that for as long as possible.

After about a half hour we made it to the field. We both took in a deep breath and walked inside.
You see, we were on this team last year, but when the season ended we left to another team for a few months. We realized that we didn't like that team, so now we are back with our old team. This is our first time coming back after last season, so we are nervous to see the girls. We walked into the change room and all eyes were on us.
"Macy!! Steph!!" All the girls cheered. They were excited to see us, which made us feel a lot better.  I gave a sigh of relief.
"I knew you wouldn't leave me." My teammate, Ashley said coming up to me and hugging me.
"Please, you're the reason we left." I joked. She playfully rolled her eyes and walked back to her soccer bag.
I put on my cleats, tied my hair, and grabbed my water bottle and gloves. The team headed out onto the turf.
"Macy!" I heard a familiar Indian voice call out to me.
"Mohammed!" I said cheerfully. His jaw dropped and he was smiling, obviously happy to see me. Mohammed is the head goalie trainer of the club, and he really likes me. He wants to help me improve, and has done everything he could to make sure that happens. I love him, and his Indian accent always brings a smile to my face.
"You came back!"
"I couldn't stay away" I beamed.
"Good. We have a lot of work to do. I'm excited you're here, and this year is going to be lots of fun." He said.
"Thanks Mohammed. It's good to be back."

*.*.* 2 hours later *.*.*

I finished getting changed and waited outside the noisy change room. I was waiting for Steph, but she was taking forever. As I was standing there, the boys my age were all walking out of their change room. I missed them too, surprisingly. We train on the same field at the same time, and I sometimes play scrimmages with them or go into shooting drills with them.
As they were walking out one by one I smiled at some of them. Then I made eye contact for a split second with a guy I've never seen before. My breath hitched, and I froze. He just looked intimidating. His face was serious, and the way he walked was very swift and so sure of himself.
Was he a new player? No, he actually looked older, like a man.
Was he a coach? He looks pretty young to be a coach though. All of the coaches I've had throughout my life were old, balding men. But this guy was probably in his early 20's, with bright blue eyes and dirty blonde hair. I stood there looking at him like I had just seen a ghost. He brushed past me and walked up to Mohammed, not noticing my stare, or my existence at all. I looked at Mohammed and saw that he was also talking with my dad. Curious, I went up to them.
"Macy, I was just talking to your father. This is Cameron. He is a new goalie trainer here." Mohammed said.
I looked at Cameron and he looked at me and stuck out his hand for me to shake.
"Hello Macy." He nodded. I gingerly stuck out my hand and shook it.
"Hello." I nodded back.
My dad continued talking with them and I quickly went up to Steph who had finally came out of the change room.
I wanted to tell her how I felt when I saw him. I don't even know what happened, so how could I explain it? I feel like my brain was trying to tell me something. I guess I gotta watch out for him.
Like all awkward moments, I brushed it off and didn't think about it for the rest of the night.
