I'm at a soccer banquet with my team and the coaches. We are all dancing on the dance floor and having a good time. Suddenly a slow song comes on.
"Would you like to dance?" A familiar voice asks. I turn and see Cameron sticking out his hand. Without hesitation I accepted. I wrapped my arms around his neck, and he wrapped his arms around my waist. We danced silently, smiling while looking into each other's eyes. I've never felt anything like this before. There's a fiery/tingling sensation happening in my body. I'm feeling so many sparks and I can't help but get closer to him. We were dancing innocently, but my hormones were getting the best of me. We started leaning closer until our noses brushed. I closed my eyes. I could feel his warm breath dance across my lips. My heart was racing. What is happening?

I woke up immediately. I sat up and took a deep breath. What the actual hell? I thought back to what I had just dreamed about.
Whaaat.... Eww...... Huhh?

Alright, keep it cool Macy.
I don't like Cameron in that way! But in that moment I just felt such a strong passion for him. That was definitely one of the most interesting dreams I've ever had. I sighed and checked the time. 4:00 am. Dammit. I laid back down and closed my eyes. All I could think about what that dream. I even tried re-enacting it, hoping to fall asleep and dream about it again.
It felt wrong dreaming about a coach like this. I shouldn't be guilty because it's not my fault, and it's not like he knows I did. I know I'm freaking out too much, but we hardly ever talk other than quick conversations at practice.
Oh my gosh, we are going out for coffee today! Great, just what I need. Maybe if I see him it will remind me that he's just my coach, and nothing more. Yeah, that sounds good.
I should just sleep this off, and hopefully I won't think about it too much.

*.*.*In the kitchen*.*.*

"Morning sis." Steph hummed while taking a bite of her eggs.
"Morning." I mumbled while heading over to the fridge.
"Somebody's in a good mood." Steph scoffed.
"I had a rough sleep." I shrugged while grabbing some waffles. A sudden image of the dream popped into my head. I put the waffles into the toaster and turned to face Steph, who was still looking at me.
"What?" I asked, clearly annoyed.
"Your face is all red." She pointed out. I felt my cheeks. Shit.
"Oh, I'm just hot." I said, fanning myself with my hands.
"Mhm. What happened last night?" She asked, starting to get suspicious.
"Um, uh nothing." I lied, but she could clearly tell.
"Spill it sister." Steph patted the seat beside her. I slowly grabbed my waffles and took a seat.
"Alright alright." I sighed in defeat. I began telling her about the dream, and how we are going to meet for coffee later.
"Oh my gosh sis!! So do you like him?!" She asked excitedly.
"No! But that stupid dream got me thinking about him now. I don't know if I can look at him the same." I took a bite out of my waffle.
"Well, first off, it's not like you guys had sex or anything so I don't know why you're freaking out. Second, if you see him today that will probably determine whether or not you actually like him." Steph pointed out.
"Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I probably just had that dream because I was thinking about going out with him, since I'm a little nervous for it and don't know what to expect. " I shrugged while taking a bite of my waffle.
"Exactly. It's probably nothing. I have weird dreams about guys all the time, like, I don't even like them but-" Steph began but I cut her off. I didn't want to get any gross images in my head.
"Alright I don't care." I said getting up to get some water. She rolled her eyes and got up to put her plate away. She walked up beside me.
"Better look good today then." She winked. I glared at her.
"Shut up!"
"Haha I swear if he tries to hit on you I would literally piss myself." Steph joked.  I eased up and let out a small giggle.
"He won't though. He's my coach. Isn't that against the rules or something?" I asked.
"Well, I know for teachers it's like that. But I've never heard of a coach dating a player before. I think it's okay." Steph shrugged. I nodded.
"Fair enough. But I'm not saying I'll date him. I don't like him like that."
"Please. You don't like anyone 'like that'. I still think you should try to get with Josh." Steph brought up. I rolled my eyes.
"Ughh how many times do I have to tell you, I don't feel that way about Josh!"
"I don't know why though. He's hot as fuck if you ask me." Steph said, emphasizing the 'fuck'.
"Stephh!" I smiled.
"It's true." She shrugged. I shook my head smiling.
"Let's just get ready to go to school, alright?"

*.*.*In Computer Class*.*.*

Ughh I'm so done with these computers. They're so slow, I can barely get any work done. I took my earbuds out of my bag and plugged them into my phone. I'm just gonna listen to music for the rest of the period, like I usually do.
After a good half hour of silently bopping my head to my music and staring at a blank computer screen I felt a tap on my shoulder, which caused me to jump.
"Shoot, I didn't mean to scare you." Josh laughed. I put my hand over my chest.
"It's okay, I needed a little waking up." I smiled. "What's up?"
"I was wondering if you could help me out with the assignment. I don't know how to make a chart for the spreadsheet." Josh said shyly.
"Oh, that's easy. I'll help you." I said while getting up and walking over to his computer.
I helped him with the assignment until the bell rang. We logged off the computers and walked to our next class.
"Hey, so did you find out yet if you are going to the dance?" Josh asked. Why does he keep asking me if I'm going?
"Um, I have the schedule on my phone, lemme check". I took out my phone and went to look at my schedule.
"Oh my gosh, my training ends the week before. Blesss." I was so relieved. "I'm able to go!" I cheered.
"Nice. Are you planning on going with anyone?" Josh asked.
"Um, I will probably go with some friends, why?" I asked. I think I see where this is going.
"Well, I was wondering if you wanted to go with me." And there it was. I really don't want to go with him, but I can't say that. Always in elementary school when boys would ask me to dance I would feel bad and say yes. But this isn't just for one dance, he's asking to go together. What do we even do? Legit go together and spend the whole night dancing with each other? Umm thanks but no thanks pal.
"I-uh-well-um, sure." I stuttered. I mentally face palmed myself.
"Really?" Josh asked, sounding surprised that I actually said yes.
"Yup." I gave the fakest smile I could possibly make.
"Okay." Josh said, turning a light shade of pink and trying not to smile. I have to admit, that was pretty cute.
The rest of the walk was silent, but for me it was very awkward. Why didn't I just say no?

Author's Note:
Okay, so the pic above is Cameron. I think he fits the perfect description for 'Cameron'. If you have a coach that looks like that then God bless
