“Hey!” bati ni Margie kay Amanda na nakadungaw sa bintana ng kwarto nila. Tumingin lang saglit si Amanda kay Margie tapos binalik ang tingin sa labas. “Still not over with it? Akala ko ba okay na? That was eight years ago for pete’s sake.”

Tumingin si Amanda sa naiiritang si Margie. Yugng tingin na para siyang iniinsulto ng isa. They both stared at each other first and then started to munch some snacks from the table. Tumingin sila sa gumagalaw na langit then Amanda talked.

“You know Margie, not all of us believe that past will just be a past. Mahirap kalimutan ang nakaraan lalo na kung buhay mo at ng taong mahal mo ang nandun. Yes, that was eight years ago, but hell, that was the worst day of my life. I can’t simply forgive and forget.” She said.

“I understand Amanda pero kasi hindi lang naman ikaw ang nawalan eh. TAYO, Amanda. Never use I dahil pare-parehas lang tayo ng pinagdaanan.” Naiiritang sagot ni Margie. Later, dumating si Christine and Thalia na may dalang drinks.

“What happened?! Did you guys fought again? I knew we shouldn’t left Thaila.” Christine said continuously. Margie and Amanda raised their eyebrows the reason why Christine gestured to shut her mouth. It was a moment of silence for them. Watching the sky, they all ate snacks and all of a sudden reminiscing the past. A past that happened eight years ago.

“Hey, are we guys going or what?!” Aiza cut the silence. Nagulat yung apat dahil nakalimutan nilang ngayon pala yung unang araw ng paghahanap nila. They were so impossible! They all stood up and once again do their looks. After a ten-minute face-off with the mirrors, the girls finally decided to go out and explore the world, outside their office and house. It was a hard time for them being so busy at the age of 20; well though Christine is just 10, being a teenage worker, it’s just so amazing to see girls like them.

“It’s going to be a long day ahead.” said Thalia.    

“Uhh, I can’t imagine this day!” Margie sound irritated. She was doing her face, putting some powder, lipstick and eyeliner.

Finally, they went out their house’s door and walked to their cars. Binati nila ang pinakamamahal nilang kotse. Taking a deep breathe, they all started their engines and started driving. The mad and wild drivers are on the road once again. It took them 15 minutes to arrive at the University. Don’t ask me why are they here when in fact they’re all have their work, I’m just a narrator here. So getting back, they went straight at the Dean’s office to present themselves.
