Meeting The Team

All was quiet in the Psycho Base, Skylah Yoshizumi was preparing a meal for everyone. She was excited yet nervous about meeting the new Psycho Red. Percy walked out of his room after strapping on his Black Psycho morpher, he was wearing a black vest and walked over to Skylah. "Sup Skylah? What you making there?" He peeked over her shoulder and reached for a spaghetti noodle. Skylah rolled her eyes and smacked his hand. "Wait for everyone else! And for crying out loud wash your hands." She scolded Percy. "Geez, hostile much.." Percy said silently as he went to the bathroom to clean up. He has had a crush on Skylah for the longest time but hasn't told her yet. Mainly because he was afraid of Skylah's older sister Erika.

Skylah finished dinner and prepared the table and served the food and drinks. "Hope they like it." She said with a small smile when she heard footsteps. She turned to the doorway of the base and saw Erika walk. She smiled and went over and gave her a quick hug. "So how'd it go?" She asked. Erika gave a shrug after she returned the hug. "It was easy, although I was hoping he would put up a fight. I wanted to see how he would do against another Psycho." She turned back to the doorway. "Yo Haruma! Get in here!" Haruma walked into the base and took off his jacket and bag. He set it against the wall, and looked around. "Not a bad place you guys have here." He then looked to Skylah. "What's up? I'm Haruma, you must be Skylah. Psycho Yellow? Am I right?"

Skylah gave a shy nod. "Y-yes I am." She was nervous and tried hiding it. She was doing a good job, that was until Erika caught Skylah blushing. "Can you excuse us?" Erika looked to Haruma and walked outside with Skylah. "I saw the blush. Don't tell me you're developing feelings for him already?" She crossed her arms. "Umm maybe..." Skylah looked down. "I know. I know. Relationships make us weak, the Rangers will use it against us." Skylah gave a small sigh. "That's correct and don't you forget it. Just remember, they may be our teammates but we can't trust anyone they will only hurt us in the end." Erika put her hand on Skylah's shoulder. Skylah brushed her off which was rare, not once has she done it. "That's the thing Erika...you haven't trusted anyone since that day..you should give people a chance.." Skylah sighed and walked back inside.

Erika stood outside a little while longer thinking about what Skylah said. She sighed and looked at an engagement ring she had on her finger. "No....it's still to soon.." She wiped a single tear that fell and turned to go inside.
