Alexis's P.O.V.

I woke up at 5:20 a.m. on the dot to my Phone loudly playing Crown by Jay-Z . I perform a long needed stretch while still in bed & slowly flutter my eyes open .

" First day , " I say to myself while sliding out of bed .

I walk over to my phone on my nightstand & tapped ' Dismiss ' . Then I walk into my bathroom to take a quick shower . Once I was done I put on Johnson Johnson Baby Lotion to keep my skin smooth & what not .

Once I put on my matching Bra & Underwear set I walk over to my closet & pull out my purple high-low chiffon tank , my dark wash Miss Me jeans , black sandals , & silver studs .

" I look good , " I said right before my mom screams my , my brother and my sisters name from downstairs . I promise she be acting like we half deaf . I mean I know this house is big , but it's not THAT BIG .

" Here I come momma , " I yell while grabbing my phone , my iPod , my black studded cross-body purse from Buckle and my purple Victoria's Secret PINK backpack .

As I walk out my room , I see my older brother walking down the hallway on the phone ..... As usual .

" Damn , Andre ! You always o- , " before I could finish my sentence he put his large index finger up to my mouth & said " shuuhhh , " then walked downstairs .

" Uhhh ! I know this nigga did not just ' shuuhhh ' me , " I say angrily as my little sister walks up to me .

" He's always on the phone , " she said almost reading my mind .

" And you already know who he's talking to .. But it doesn't even matter. " I finished calming myself down . 

" Anyways , momma called us , so we better get downstairs before she starts raising hell ." my sister Ayanna says as we start walking down the hall & towards the stairs .

Once we get to the kitchen my mom gave us the run down .

" Ok , this is the first day of school . If I get called up there over some bull shit between any of y'all , it's gone be hell to pay . I'm gonna be working over time tonight so if you get hungry , you know how to cook or order a pizza . Here's y'all lunches . Now go & catch that school bus and have a good first day , love you!"

After we left out the house & got to out bus stop on the corner we waited for our bus . As me , Andre , & Ayanna stood on the bus stop I got a text from my Bestfriend Tontyana .

( Me: M, T: Tontyana )

T : Good Morning Love !

M :  Good Morning Boo ! Did the bus already come & get you ?

T : Yeah , we're getting close to your neighborhood .

M : Ight , save me a seat .

T : I gotchu girl .

After a few more minutes , buses passing by ,  & seeing more kids walk to there bus stop , our bus finally pulled up . Once I stepped onto the aisle, I saw the most gorgeous human being in my life time . His long auburn stands that hung out of his Beanie , his thin pink lips , his memorizing green eyes and just the way he looked out the window listening to his music just made him look even so mysterious which only made me want to talk to him even more .

Wait Alexis , what are you saying ? You don't even know this dude . You just walked onto the bus . Chill .

But I just couldn't do it . As I made my way to a seat across from Tontyana I kept my eyes on him .

" Hello ! Earth to Alexis , " Tontyana slightly yelled while waving her hands in my face trying to get my attention .

" Oh shit , my bad girl Hey , " I said finally talking my eyes off of Him & putting my focus onto Tontyana .

" Mmm-hmmm , I saw you drooling over dude back there . That's Mason , " she said while looking back at him , then back at me .

" Damn , how do you know his name already ? " I asked a little mad . Wait , why am I mad ! I don't even know him .

" When I got on the bus he was the only other person on and I thought he was cute and you know I'm not the type to go after white boys , but I sat my bag down , walked back there , asked him what his name was , he told me , I told him mine and I came back and sat down then I texted you , " she finished calmly .

That's what I love about Tontyana , she always says what's on her mind and does what she wants and her opinion is always being stated . She doesn't care about what other people think about her .

" Oh wow . It was that easy ? " I asked while taking my backpack off .

" Yupp , " she said with a smirk on her face .

For the rest of the bus ride we just talked about our summer and dance team . When we pulled up Ballard High School , I was ready . Ready to start a new year , make new friends ,  & definitely get to know Mr . Mason .

Yeah , I know ; short first chapter , but I'm just kinda trying to get some type of feel of the story , I guess . But yeah , tell me what y'all think ? Do y'all like it ? What do y'all like ? What can / needs to be fixed ? I hope you guys like or even love it ?
