Light Blue

If Marcus could be named a colour it would be white, even though white is a shade I know. Marcus would be white because he is bright in personality and looks and he also is simple, he thinks pretty simple and his lifestyle is pretty simple.

Together me and him are Light Blue.

It is 2:47 pm and I called Marcus to see if he wanted to come over, he said he would come over and bring popcorn so we could watch scary movies.

My brothers don't really like Marcus coming over because well, I am a girl and he is a boy and he is quite attractive but I look at Marcus as if he is a brother and my brother's don't understand that.

"CALEB!" I yell from my bedroom knowing he is probably playing ps4 or something.

"YEAH WHAT?!" He yells back

I giggle. "CAN MARCUS COME OVER PLEASE?!".

I hear a grunt and a door open, before I can even blink he is in my room leaning against the door frame. "Why?" He says looking at me.

"Because we're gonna watch movies and eat popcorn". He looks at me as if my head expanded and unicorns jumped out.

"No! He needs to get a life, I don't like him hanging around making my sister laugh more than I can" he folds his arms.

All of a sudden the door bell rings. I know that is Marcus and Caleb is going to most likely tell him to leave.
Caleb stares at me, I move slightly and he move back a bit. In one swift move I jump off my bed and run down stairs battling the gigantic monster I call my brother.

I reach the door first luckily and my brother stands over me to show that he is protective of me, I giggle and open the door. There stands Marcus his hair disheveled, wearing a black hoodie and holding microwave popcorn.

"Hi Riley, Hi Caleb" he says with a charming smile.

I reply with a "Hey", Caleb behind me grunts and moves back.

As me and Marcus walk up to my room Caleb grabs his hood and drags him outside. "CALEB! What are you doing?!"

"Just having a talk with Marky here!" He replies from outside.

I sit on the stairs waiting for them to finish when I see a text from someone on facebook. I press the little bubble and Kristens name pops up.

Kristen Herling: Hey Riley!! I miss you so much and can't wait to see you! xx

Do you really miss me Kristen? Pfft.

Riley Waters: Oh hi! Miss you too and what do you mean is Rueben coming over? x

Kristen Herling: No silly! I am moving to your town! And starting school monday! xx

What. This can't be happening, I am finally okay, I'm over you and your world why are you coming back? Does life just want to punish me??

Riley Waters: Oh really? I'm so excited! Can't wait xx

Marcus comes back looking like he is going to start crying and I glare at Caleb. "What happened? I say placing my hands on my hips.

"Nothing, nothing at all" Caleb says looking around suspiciously. "Isn't that right Marky?" He hits Marcus on the back which makes him cough.

"Yep, right nothing" Marcus saying through coughing.

"O-kay then" I say awkwardly. Gesturing to the stairs I wait for Marcus to go up first and glare at Caleb whilst I follow Marcus. Caleb shrugs and walks away.

Once we enter my room I shut the door and ask "What happened back there? What did he say?" Whilst getting my laptop and turning it on.

"He said that, If I ever touch you, speak to you in a inappropriate way or hurt you he was going to come to my house and cut my manhood off" he said sitting on my bed. "Man I was scared, I almost cried".

I laughed "I could see that". "Now pass me the popcorn so you don't have to face the wrath of my brother again" he threw me the popcorn and I catched it in time luckily.

"Nice catch" he said whilst nodding slightly.

"Ha thanks" I replied before leaving my room.

We were watching Paranormal Activity 1, I was under the blanket and he was on top of it. The movie ended and he jumped and fell off the bed because of a jumpscare.

I laughed until my stomach hurt. "T-that was the f-f-unniest thing- I- have ever seen!" I said gasping for air.

"Shut up" he said whilst staring at me, oh no. I know that stare. He launched towards me and sat on my stomach tickling my sides until I couldn't breathe from laughing so much.

"S-top stop- I surrender!" I yelled pushing him off and laying on my side.

"Okay, okay" he said looking at me contently, "I will let you live".

The moment died down and what was left was a peaceful silence in the dark of my room. I could hear his breathing and see his brown eyes start to close. "Mark" I asked with my eyes closed aswell.

He hummed in response.

"My ex bestfriend is coming to our school and I don't want you to fall for her, I know this is harsh but she is incredibly beautiful and I feel as if, if you see her you might leave me for her" I said a blush climbing to my cheeks. "Promise you wont".

"Riley" he said eyes still closed.

"Yeah?" I replied.

"I promise". He said "I love you, you're  my best friend and if I had a choice between Megan Fox and you I would still choose you". He said smiling and hugging me close to him.

"I love you too" I said into his hoodie and fell asleep.

A few moments later he asked "Why?".

"Why what" I asked in response.

"Why do you not want me to like your ex bestfriend if she's incredibly  beautiful? Theres gotta be another explanation" he looked at me and suddenly the moment was gone.

"Stuff" I said not wanting to reveal the truth.

"Wait has stuff happened between you two?" He asked propping himself up with his elbow.

"Yeah, lets just say, its a long story".

"I have enough time" he said looking into my eyes.

"I will tell you when you meet her" and then, sleep devoured me whole.
