Chapter 1- Cinderella

Beep... Beep... Beep... Beep Beep Beep. 

"Honey," I mumble getting no responce. 

"Honey," I repeat waving my arm over to his side of the bed, empty. 

Beep Beep Beep

"Ugh!" I groan getting up and slamming off his 5am alarm. I roll over to my night stand and grab my phone. 

Babe, Please stop setting your alarm when you know your going to be at work before it even goes off.

I place my phone back down on my night stand to sit up and strech. Well, since I'm up I might as well get ready for today. 

BUZZ BUZZ My phone vibrates on the nightstand as I'm throwing my legs over the side of my bed. 

Can't talk now. Bye.

I sigh standing up and walking into the shared bathroom. I'm in a nightgown, like every princess wears to bed.

I look at my face in the mirror. I look pale and my eyes look stale, I need Shannon. 

"Shannon!" I yell trying to get her attention. 

"What is it dear?" She hustles into the bathroom. Her maid outfit looks faded and her little hat is crocked. She's out of breath but her brown eyes show she's willing to help.  

"Can you fix up my face?" I ask motioning my fingers around it.

"Oh yes dear, I'll be right back!" She says hobbling her short, chubby, yet adorable body out of the bathroom. 

I sigh looking into the mirror at the horrific sight. I really haven't been very happy lately.

"You don't look very happy dear," Shannon comments carrying in my make-up case. I glance over to her. 

"It's alright Shannon, I'm fine," I smile sitting down on a stool. I guess I've just gotten used to everything that's gone on lately that I've become numb to it. 

"Dear, You shouldn't feel this bad about yourself." Shannon steps up onto a step stool to reach my sitting height. Her brown eyes look into mine deciding what to do. I just sigh looking away as she studies my face. 

"I don't know Shannon," I sigh to her. I'm not even sure what to say to her. We're not very close besides the point where she's our most trusted maid. 

"Alright dear," Shannon states with a caring tone in her voice. 

She starts doing my make-up. I always feel more confident with make-up. I know it's a surprise, but not all princesses are naturally pretty. I'm not what so ever. My hair is all like a poof! It's way too knotted and think. Aurora's hair is the prettiest hair I've ever seen. She's just generally pretty! Speaking of Aurora... 

"Shannon?" I ask getting her attention. She looks at me. "Can you get my phone?" She smiles then hops away getting my phone. She comes back instantaniously and hands it to me carefully. I open up my addiction, twitter, and start scrolling through new tweets.

Obviously it has something to do with Florian. Although Aurora is unbelievably pretty, she's so dramatic. I decide to privite message her to see what's up.

I end the conversation there by not replying. I wait until Shannon finishes getting my face all ready for the day. 

"Cinderella?" Shannon gets my attention as she steps. I shake my head out the tired daze and look at Shannon who's looking at me with emphathizing eyes. "Your phone is ringing..."
