the last goodbye (wooly oneshot)

its only a few hours until the show and im sat in the dressing room scrolling through twitter.

I hear the door open and I see kier.

"hey kier whats up?" I say fake smiling.

"i was going to ask you the same question?" he says lookin concerned.

"kier whats happened?" I say standing up.

"shane drew was hit by a car earlier didn't anyone tell you?" kier says looking nervous.

i wake up to the sound of beeping.

it must have been a dream.

its been three days since drew has opened those gorgeous forest green autumn eyes of his.

its been three days since he has smile at me with that gorgeous smile of his.

three days since he was really alive.

he lays in the hospital bed his pale skin scattered with bruises and bandages from his injures.

it all happened so quick one minute hes going to get a cookie from the café across the road alone the next hes lay on the ground unconscious and bleeding.

he had to go alone since we were all busy i regret not going with him  i could have stopped all this but i was ignorant and stupid enough to let him go alone.

my little wooly may never wake up i cant let him die and if h does ill be here with him.

there's on thing i wish i had told him something all the other guys knew,i wish i had told him how much i love him,how perfect he is and how he brightens my world.

I take his hand in mine "im sorry drew im sorry this happened to you i love you so much please don't give up on me stay for me even for just another few hours please wake up i need you timid" i cry kissing his hand.

i hear him speak hoarsely "i love you too shane sumner" he says.

then his monitor goes dead.

my little wooly finally at peace.
