Secret

School... Again

The next few weeks went bye as usual. At school, helping people study, but after, I would check up on each territory. The training got harder, and I would help with the training as well. But tonight was another meeting of the dragons. Classes went by the same, tests, study requests, and my friends planning on going to the mall. Of course I declined. But today, another boy, named Anthony sat with us.
"Hey, Destiny do you want to come to my place and hang out later today?" He asked, looking nervous.
"I can't, I'm looking at colleges with my father." I lied, but no one can tell when I'm lying.
"Wait. But you're a sophomore!" He replied staring at me, but all my friends were used to it.
"No harm in being prepared." I replied. All my friends chuckled, and Anthony just stared at me.
"Classic Destiny, she's always one step ahead of the game!" Thomas said, laughing. We then all said goodbye, as we went home, but headed straight for the woods, and Anthony saw me.
"Hey! Destiny, where are you going." He asked, jogging to catch up.
"For a walk."
"Can I come?"
"I'd rather be alone right now."
"Too bad you're stuck with me."
*sighs*
"Wait, I thought you were looking at colleges with your dad."
"He isn't home yet, so I'm taking a walk to clear my thoughts."
"Oh. Hey, look is that a gryphon?" He said pointing to a gryphon as we walked through the woods.
"Yeah."
"Wow, I've never seen one before. Did you know that they only let certain people ride them?"
"Yeah." I said walking up to it. She was one of the best warriors that I was training.
You're highness shouldn't you be going? She asked but allowed me to hop on her back.
"Wait it's letting you ride it?" Anthony said, trying to climb on with me, but she almost took his hand off. I steadied myself on her back, so that I wouldn't fall when she took off.
"You look like you've done this before."
"I have." And with that she took a running start, and lifted off the ground, leaving Anthony behind.
"Thank you, Julie." I said as we flew on. Was that one of the students from the school you go to.
"Yes he was, and I'm afraid that I'll have to be more careful around him." I replied. Well good luck.
"Thank you." I said and hopped off of her back, turning into my true form mid air.

The dragon at the top is Destiny's dad.
