                                                  Chapter 1- Sofia's P.O.V

I'm your normal small-town girl. I usually sit on my couch watching SpongeBob and some occasional Full House while eating a bag of popcorn. It was a few weeks before Christmas and my birthday was just a few weeks after that. I loved having my birthday a few weeks after Christmas because she got a few more presents that I loved getting. I and my best friend Jessie had been wanting One Direction tickets since that March of that year. I thought that I had convinced Mom, but I later found out by listening in to one of their conversations. After listening, I would "CASUALLY" walk in and say something along the lines of, "So, what's for dinner?". Jessie had begged and pleaded for tickets, but didn't convince her Mom. I called Jessie and talked about Louis, Harry, Zerrie, and disappointment in their parents. We gave up.

                                                       The Next Day

When I woke up for school, I felt a very odd and kid of special feeling in my guts. No, I was not sick or anything like that, I was just- feeling. I told my Mom and she said that I was just fine and to text her if i started to feel sick. At school, Jessie and I were walking to band, where both of us play trumpet, when I tripped on someone's foot or leg, landing me  face-first on top of my trumpet case, giving me a nosebleed and a horrendous headache. While I was down in the nurse's office, I was trying to remember who-or what- I had tripped on. It looked like a teacher's leg, but the leg was wearing Vans....or was it Converse.......it may have been Keds. I don't know. I heard a ring of the bell signaling that it was lunch.  The nurse said, "Sofia, your friends Jessie and Payton would like to know if you would like to go out to lunch with them. Tell me in the next few minutes because I have to leave soon." "I would like to go out for lunch with them. Will I be okay?" "Yes, Sofia. You should be just fine. Bye." So after that, Jessie and Payton picked me up from the nurse's office and we drove to Starbucks, since I got to choose since I was the hurt one. Thank the Lord for hurting me! Just kidding. I hate to get hurt. Once we arrived, I sprang in through the glass doors, almost hitting my head on them, but with my cat-like reflexes, I saved myself from another headache. The cashier guy was a brown haired guy with his hair up in a quiff with a beanie topping it off. He was truly beautiful. I wanted to put him in the blender, blend him, then put him in a cup, then drink it, but then I went back to reality. Poo. "Ma'am, what would you like? Ma'am? Ma'am, Sir? Someone in that body?" "Oh, I would like a vanilla mocha grande, please. Extra whipped cream. ;)" "Okay. Are the others in your party?" "Yes. Those idiots over there are with me. Actually I'm with them but, whatever!" The two idiots ordered, then we sat down. Jessie said, "Sofia! There's a note on your cup!"
