Tyler grew up as a bully. Because of his strength as a kid, he took advantage of it and started messing with his classmates.
But his life changed when he met Alyssa.
Alyssa is a weak girl that gets sick often that's why she never made friends with her classmates since kindergarten. She transferred to Tyler's elementary school due to some family circumstances.
Tyler found a new kid to bully. Even though her classmates pity her, they couldn't do anything against Tyler.
On her first day, Tyler jammed her locker with trash and messed with her chair.
Tyler loves to see kids crying. Specially girls. This is because her mom left him in such a young age. So he hated girls ever since.
Tyler thought that Alyssa will cry but she didn't. She cleaned her locker, wiped her chair and fixed her bag.
It made Tyler furious.
The next day, he broke the vase and blamed Alyssa for it.
Instead of telling him off, Alyssa picked up the broken pieces of the vase and promised to replace it.
Nothing could make Tyler so angry at the moment. He swore to himself that he will make this girl cry.
Alyssa always carries her inhaler with her because of her Asthma.
Tyler thought of breaking her inhaler and see her beg for air like a fish out of water.
"Whe--re is -my in--ha--ler?" Alyssa searched her bag as she panted for breath.
"Alyssa are you ok?"
"If you are looking for your inhaler, Tyler had it earlier"
Her classmates finally confronted her.
"B-but whhat w--ill he --do wi--th my inhal---"
"ALYSSA!!"
Alyssa almost fainted.
"I'm fine (deep breath) I just have to (pants) find my inhaler"
"In that condition?"
"You should just tell your parents to tranfer"
Before they could finish, Alyssa was already at the door panting.
"WHY ARE YOU SO KIND TO TYLER WHEN HE'S SUCH A BULLY?!?!"
Alyssa turned
Like she was not suffering an Asthma attack
She smiled and said
"Everyone should be treated equal. Nobody should be called weak or strong, kind or mean. Because in the end, only God can judge us".
Then she ran off.
Alyssa search the whole school building for Tyler only to find him at the playground.
Alone.
Like her
"Tyler!"
"Why are you here? Don't tell me that you ran like that?!"
"I searched the whole building to find yo--"
She fainted
(ambulance siren)
"What happened to my daughter?" Alyssa's mom asked as she sees her daughter being carried to the emergency room.
"We saw your daughter at the park almost out of breath" the class adviser answered
"But she carries an inhaler. How could she--"
"It was my fault madam" Tyler took the blame for the first time.
"I took her inhaler. I'm sorry" *SLAP*
Alyssa's mom slapped him on the face.
"YOU! YOU ARE THE REASON WHY ALYSSA IS LIKE THAT. WHERE ARE YOUR PARENTS? HUH?!?"
"Calm down Honey! Alyssa is fine now, the doctor said so. You should go look on her."
"REALLY? WHAT ROOM HONEY?"
"Room 305"
Alyssa's mom rushes to her room without a second thought.
"It must be nice to have a mother like that huh. Oh sorry. You must be Alyssa's father. I'm so sorry. I'll take any harsh words from you. So please accept my forgiveness"
Tyler was crying. For the first time,he cried for a girl.
Alyssa's father saw through him and forgived him.
"Alyssa might look frail, but she is not weak. She is independent and often handles her own problems. Ever since her elder brother died.
Her brother was the black sheep of the family. He never follows my orders. But he is caring when it comes to her sister.
At that time, Alyssa was brainwashed by us. We told her to stay away from her brother and she did. She saw her brother as nothing but trash.
Alyssa was running an errand when a motorcycle almost hit her. If her brother wasn't there on time, she would be gone by now. She blamed herself for what happened and tries to redeem herself by seeing everyone not on their faults.
So please, try to be nice to her. She has been lonely these past few years for being hospitalized.
Can I expect that from you little boy?"
"Hm!" He nodded.
Tyler stopped bullying Alyssa. Instead, he protected her from people who tries to hurt her. They became friends.
It was the first time. That somebody saw through him. Through his strength, through his rudeness and through... his loneliness.
He promised that he would make Alyssa the happiest girl in the world.
It was going well until..
The two of them were on the phone as the harsh rain rot there rooves to dust. They both spoke calmly as if there was no storm at all.
"Tyler" Alyssa's voice was so frail, it could break anytime.
"Yes Alyssa?"
"You respect my decisions right?"
"Of course I do! You're the most precious person in the world for me. I-L-O-V-E-Y-O-U." those last words trailed off like a gust of wind.
"Pardon? The last part. I didn't hear it very well. Maybe because of the static"
"It was nothing!! I'm just talking to myself! Ha ha ha."
"Really? I could've sworn you said something about me. Cause I heard a YOU. So may---"
"What was your decision again? hahahaha"
"Oh! Sorry. Well, this is a little sudden but--"
"But?"
"I love you Tyler! You are so special to me. More than anything else in this world. So this decision will hurt me more than you. And I promise--"
Those last words came out slow that you could hear tears falling from her eyelids
"I WILL COME BACK FOR YOU"

What just happened?
Wait wait.. Didn't say that she likes me? Not just like but LOVE???
SHE FEELS THE SAME WAY!?!?!
WOOOOOOOHHHH!!!
GOODBYE BFF ZONE!
HELLO RELATIONSHIP!!!
GAAAAHHH!!
I don't think I'll be able to sleep...
(3 hours later)
I-- ca-n't sleeeep!!! I wonder what she's doing now? Probably thinking of me t--

×No one knows what will happen next. What decision was made? Will it hurt Tyler or not? Nobody has a clue.
