I opened my eyes hoping to see Opa, but he wasn't there. I turned over on and my face felt the chill of the metal of what looked to be like stands on a football field.

I started to sit up and as I got up I looked at the sky, it looks like it was about to rain but out of the corner of my eye I saw a bright light. As I turn my head I saw a football field in dark black hair blowing in the wind. She was a little ray of sunshine literally. I pick myself up to move towards her. Reaching out my hand to tap on the shoulder. My hand slowly touched her shoulder under a Florida sweatshirt she always wore. I could barely feel the fabric of her shirt scrape against my hand, but it was enough for her to feel. She turned around looking shocked, like she never seen a person before. Her dark green eyes were wide and she look like she was about to cry.

"Who are you?" Her eyes were red as if she had been crying, but that could have been because she was she was about to cry. I should have known she wouldn't know who I was. "Wait, are you Karl?" That shocked me a little, "the one who painted this picture, right? Don't you also go to the school, with me, over there?"

It kind of shocked me, I didn't know what to say.

"Um...yeah, I am...Do you know who you are?"

"Yeah, of course... I'm Mallory. captain of the cheerleader and lacrosse team." She smiled, probably thinking of all the fun she's had with her teas. That didn't stop stop her tears lightly falling from her face.

"Why are you crying, my dear? Is everything alright?" I looked her in the eyes, and at that moment I wanted to throw my arms around her so she wouldn't cry. Maybe she read my mind or something because seconds later her arms were around my neck hugging me. She continued to cry into my shoulder.

"No! Nothing is alright! Nothing is going as planned! He was supposed to ask me to prom, not making out with my best friend!" As she was crying into my shoulder, I finally remembered. The day I drew the picture of her sitting on these bleachers was the day Danny broke up with Mallory for her best friend Sophie.

To be honest I have no idea why he would ever have broken up with Mallory for someone like Sophie. She is one of the meanest on the cheerleading team. Maybe it was because she was blonde and Mallory wasn't. Sophie was blonde, her eyes were a blueish-green, and she was shorter than Mallory by about five inches.

"Oh yeah I remember that...I mean I'm sorry, my dear. Would you like me to beat him up?" She slowly nodded her head while still sobbing into my shoulder. She pulled her head away from my shoulder and wiped away her the tears from her checks. "It's all going to be okay...Wait...Did you say something about me being the painter?" She looked up from her feet up to my eyes.

"Oh, yeah. I know I'm a painting and all I will ever be. I also know you have to leave when the painting starts to dry." She stopped crying but her eyes were still red. I looked down at the stopwatch Opa gave me before I left, 20 minutes had already gone by.

"Oh, wow. I never knew...Well to be fair I never knew any of this. I'm new to the whole painter thing..." I said with a shaky voice. My head started to pound with every thought. I think it was because of the 'ride' down, plus landing on bleachers didn't help...

"I know, it's kind of obvious..." She finally started to smile again.

"So can we do, like, whatever we want?" I asked unknowing.

"Well, duh. It's your painting after all. The paint works off the imagination, whatever you think, it paints." When she said those last words my mind went somewhere else. The fact that I was here 'saving' her from the guy who broke her heart. Maybe I was thinking of her as my princess, and that I needed to make sure she was safe. So. I guess that's the first thing that came to mind was a village.

Okay, this is normal...The village looks nice at least...

What I realized soon after that the village wasn't the only thing that popped in my head. Because soon following was a huge dragon, twice the size of any building I've ever seen. It was blowing fire everywhere! Setting building after building on fire eating a few sheep here or there. I watched the dragon for any a moment before the sword in the stone, and a beautiful black horse come out of nowhere. I mean that's the paint works right? It makes stuff come out of thin air... So, the only thing left I knew to do was to jump on the horse and slay the dragon.

As the horse was ran by the giant stone I reached my hand out and grabbed the sword. Barely making contact but enough to grab the sword and lightly pull it out. Charging at the dragon at top speeds! The dragon must have heard the horse and wanted BBQ, because it started blowing fire at me. The horse was barely faster though. I looked back at where the school should have been and to my surprise it was not longer a school, but a church on fire.
