"Meow!" I bolted up, forgetting where I was for a moment. Then I realized I was snoozing on top of someone's chest. The person's chest moved, then a head came up and looked at me. "Good morning Twyla." Harry said to me. "Meow." I replied, still groggy from being woken up so suddenly. "Today is Dudleys birthday. Hip hip hooray," Harry said sarcastically. I cringed and let out a hiss. Within the six years that I've lived with Harry and the Dursleys, Dudley has always thought he owns me, despite the scratches that cover his face. I'm happy to say that those scratches were my doing. Harry suddenly stood up, causing me to fall off of his chest onto the dust and spider covered floor. "Meow!" I shrieked as I fell, irratated that Harry didn't tell me he was about to stand up so I could get off of his lap. "Sorry Twyla." Harry apologized. Suddenly there was a knock on the door, and Aunt Petunia's voice came throught into our small room which we called home. "Get up and start making the breakfast boy! I want everything to be perfect for Duddy's birthday!" Aunt Petunia sang as she rapped on our door, then walked down the hallway, humming to herself. Harry stood up and began to change, so I quickly averted my phone eyes from him. Harry led me to the front door, then opened it and looked down at me. "Please be safe Twyla." Harry said. I gave a little "Meow," then scampered out the door. I had a long journey ahead of me. First to visit my godfather Hagrid and get him to take me to Diagon Alley for my birthday, and so I could get money out of the bank at Gringotts for muggle clothes and when I got my Hogwarts letter. Harry knew when I went on a trip, I was usually gone for 4-5 days. He didn't know where I was going, just that I'd be back in a couple days, and that I was always safe, no matter what danger I faced. I looked ahead, focusing on the journey. It was going to be a long night.
