Chapter 3

Sophia POV

  I was in a light slumber when I heard Maci sneak out the room, and never returned. But thats okay because i knew where she was, ha little nasty ass. There's 5 spare room's and she ends up in his, isn't that funny. I ease my mind letting sleep take me.

"Knock Knock" someone said easing the door open, I could not make out the face because I was still adjusting to the dark rooms. The person was walking closer and still could not make'em out. 

"It's a shame sister, that you can not make out your favorite brother" he annouced 

"Caleb?" jumping out of bed, trying to untangle the sheets.

Eventually I unwrapped myself and hugged him. Then I punshed him really hard for making us wait all night for him, no words was needed because he knew what that meant. "I'm sorry time just got away from me. You know how that goes" 

I smiled and asked where was everybody else, he said "They went out to eat-' I interrupted

"O real-'

'Isis said you was so tired that u was tossing and turning all night. You needed the rest" he quickly defended them. 'So why didn't u go?' 

He starts to chuckle, he finds it funny when I get a little defensive. "When I was walking in, they were walking out, they invited me but I wanted to be here with u' he laughs again, elbowing me 'you know our time before they get back' I ease up on him and head to my bathroom to brush my teeth. "You want me to make breakfeast" I yelled.

"that would be nice, seeing as I just passed on  a free meal' he said jokingly

I stepped out the bathroom and he ran to the kitchen. I called out to him "Arn't we too old to race?"  I said, laughing to myself.

"Never to old" he replied

I got down the stairs, and he was placing the food he wanted to eat out the fridge onto the counter- and that man was he hungry.  He sat down, and I got started

'so we mightiest well catch up, before u spring this BIG idea of yours' he said

'ok, lets start with you, where have you been?' 

"you know, here and there- all over' I looked at him and started shaking my head 'I mean, where have you been laying your head? I asked with a sternness in my voice.

"At different hotels, hanging with different people ' 

"why have you not returned home after all these years?' I asked not really knowing if i meant by daddy's house or Elijah's. Before answering my family was walking through the door, laughing hard. I looked at Caleb before turning my attention to the group mentalling telling him it was not over.

"Goodmorning babygirl" Elijah kissed me on my cheek, I smiled I loved how my brothers baby me its really been a long time. Isis hopped on the kitchen counter looking to devour what I just finish making. Maci sat at the table since Elijah started putting the food I just made there, and Jasper was helping me finish up. "I thought yall went out to eat?' i asked

"We did but Isis felt bad leaving you so we came right back' Jasper said 'See only my baby sister cares about me' while pointing the spoon that was in my hand, in all of  their directions, winking at Isis. While everyone was getting seatted, I finally felt at home. I sat between Maci and Caleb with Elijah sitting next to Maci. 

"so what what happened last night..... while we were asleep?' saying it with a smugged look, it was directed towrds Maci and Elijah.

   Maci blushed feeling embrassed, (lol) if it wasn't my brother I was teasing her about- I wouldve felt bad. I smiled towards her but she wouldn't meet my eye so I threw a piece of my bread to get her attention and she was beyong angry. Oh well there no privacy in a mansion full of vampires :) giving my famous smirk then i wink ;)
