"I want your most skilled killer."

"No problem, I'd like to introduce you to Jack Connor, He'll be doing your dirty work."

"Excellent"

~

"You know what you have to, right?" The man with the stubbled chin pulled his sunglasses down. "Yeah, I do. Now, let's talk numbers. How much am I getting paid for this?" Jack was impatient, he always was. He would do anything to get his money. "200,000" Jack's neutral face turned in to a smirk. "That's all I need to hear." They shook hands and turned away from each other.

JACK

"Diamond Rose" I said that name over and over again as I was walking to inside the high school.

I walked inside the school and turned to the office, "How may I help you, darling?" The front desk lady that seemed to be in her 30s asked. "Yeah, I enrolled online, I'm Jason Walker" she began typing on her computer and clicking her mouse. "Ah-hah! Yes, we have you down, here's your schedule, your first class for today is Mr. Matthew's French class. It's going to be room 303, just go straight and turn to your left, the first hallway is the 300s." I nodded my head and waited for her to unlock the door that was locked. I heard the click and walked in the main school area where I knew I'd be spending most of my time at.

As I was walking, I bumped in a girl. I observed her, Diamond Rose, she looked the same as she did in the photo that was sent to me. "I-I'm so sorry." She kept her head down, "It's alright. But do me a huge favor and show me where Mr. Matthew's class is." She looked up, "Oh I'm in that class right now!" I smirked, I already knew that. Most of my classes were with her already. It was all part of the plan. "I'm Diamond." She stuck her hand out for me to shake it. I took it, "I'm Jason." And we walked. We walked to the class.

"Well, this is it. French class." She took a deep breath and walked in the class. She put her head down again, "Um, Mr. Matthews w-we have a new student." Her voice was quiet. I didn't understand, she didn't seem this scared or shy just a second ago. "Ahh yes, Jason. We've been expecting you for a while now. Diamond, go take your seat." Her head was still down, and she walked to the back of the classroom. "You can go take a seat in the back also in the empty seat." I started walking and I could tell that most girls were already looking at me. I sat right beside Diamond. This was going to be an easy kill.

"Hey Diamond." I remember what was told to me, "Destroy her, emotionally then kill her. Make her want to die. Stab her heart. You only have 1 month."

Her voice snapped me out of my thoughts, "hi Jason." I honestly loved her voice. It was so innocent, as if I could grab it and crush it. "What are we learning?" I asked. She snickered, "Is there something funny back there?" Diamond's eyes widened before she looked down. "N-no sir, sorry,"

The rest of that class she didn't speak a word. Something about that Mr. Matthews is really shady. I shook it off, when the bell rang I jumped up. "Diamond, what's your next class." I asked, even though I already knew it was her mathematics class. "Math, and you?" I looked down at the paper I had in my hands, "Oh! I have math too, do you want to walk together?" I asked.

DIAMOND

"Oh! I have math too, do you want to walk together?" He asked, I couldn't help but smile that I've made a new friend. I never really had very many friends at this high school, no one really wanted to be seen with me. "Sure Jason!" We walked over in the hallways, "Just give me a second, I have to go to the washroom, I'll be back in a minute, don't move!" I nodded. "Well, well, well. I see you've made yourself a new friend huh?" I heard coming from behind me, I recognized that voice anywhere.

Alex.

"Please Alex, not today. Don't embarrass me." I squeezed my eyes shut and hugged my books. I felt myself being pushed down on to the floor. "Don't EVER tell me what to do bitch." He screamed.

Alex and I used to be best friends, then something happened. Something changed in him and, well as you see. We don't talk anymore.

A kick to my stomach brought me out of my thoughts. "How do you like that?" I opened my eyes and saw him throwing a punch in the air. I shut my eyes, but I didn't feel the punch. Maybe he changed his mind. I opened my eyes and saw Jason on top of Alex, throwing punches at him. "Don't. Fucking. Hurt. Her. Again." He said. I sat on the floor. No one has ever done that before. Before he got up, he spit at Alex. "You disgust me."

"Oh Diamond, are you okay?" He walked over to me. "Listen. It's alright if you don't want to talk to me and stuff. I don't really have a problem." I kept my head down and refused to look at him in the eye. "Diamond, just because of that, I'm going to stick around even more, I'll protect you." He said grabbing the sides of my face with the palm of his hands and pulling them up, eye to eye. "Thank you so much. I don't know what to say" He smiled, "You don't have to say anything, come on, lets get to math." The bell rang and he helped me up.
"Mr. Walker, late on your first day, oh! and Diamond, glad you could make it to class." Miss Honey said with disgust filled in her voice. I took a seat in the back of the class, where I normally sit and Jason took a seat with me. "Who's she?" I heard Jason ask, whispering. "That's Miss Honey," I whispered back to him. He nodded his head and I started to write notes as I was suppose to be doing.

Math class ended in a pink of an eye with Jason always making me laugh and giggle. "Um- Jason, I usually juts sit outside for lunch. I mean-  I don't really want to limit you to just being friends with me or anything so you can-" He cut me off by grabbing my hand and running outside the doors to go outside. "Let's just go exploring." He said with shine written all over his face. I nodded my head and we ran back outside.

JACK

She nodded her head and I reached back down to grab her hand and run outside. Playing this part of a nice friend was really fun, but I had to get back to my mission.

At some point we ended up sitting in the back of the school, I was leaning my back against the tree and she had her head resting on my knee. "Jason, I'm really glad you're my friend." She simply said, I felt guilt trickle up my spine. I was starting to feel bad for her. I don't understand why I even had to kill her. She seems like a nice girl who just wants a friend. "I'm really glad you're my friend too Diamond." I played with her hair until the bell rang. As I was walking I calculated all my thoughts.

Alright, Day 1, complete. 30 days left. 30 days left to shatter her heart, and then her. Oh Jack, what have you gotten yourself into.
