| This is going to be a long-ish chapter that will most likely end poorly and not like the movie. |
| I realize, I never finished this and unfortunately, I lost all inspiration for this story and moved on from the account as a whole. This ending may satisfy some and may not satisfy others. I'm sorry for taking two years to do this, but I lost the account (until now) and as I said before, lost all inspiration for this story. Sorry. Here's the end. |Eren woke up the next morning when he felt Levi shifting in his bed, a smile came upon his face as he watched the older male sleep. He looked peaceful. It made Erens heart melt but quickly he grew frightened as Levi's eyes shot wide open. "What were you looking at, brat?"
The brunette boy attempted to defend himself in this case. "Oh, no nothing. You just look... Peaceful when you sleep." Levi sat up off of the rather small bed that was still capable of holding them both. "Hmm. Well I need to get to work."
"Already?"
"Yes, I have a company to run, Mr. Jaeger."
"Eren..."
"I know."
The black haired male switched into his work clothes and got ready to leave. Yet, before he did he placed a kiss upon Eren's forehead. "You have no idea what it is you do to me... Meet me at my workplace, in the conference room at 9 'o'clock P.M. Please."
Eren wasn't sure what this was for but he agreed, he /had/ to.
at 9 o'clock
----Eren walked into the building, most of the main lights dimmed as just about everyone was sent home. ' The conference room... What could he want with me in here, exactly? Some more hot, kinky sex? Or perhaps that contract... ' The brunette thought to himself.
A sigh escaped from between his lightly parted lips. He was dressed very nicely, in something he believed would please Levi's eyes.
When he walked into the room which was dimly lit by a red light, he managed to see the look in Levi's grey eyes as the scanned over him. Surely, Eren got the reaction he wanted.
And it seemed Levi got what he wanted, Eren's presence.
"Sit." The corporate spoke in a stern manner, watching closely as Eren almost immediately obeyed. But Levi could sense the hesitance, of course, he figured it wouldn't be there for long.
"What am I here for, Levi?" The younger male spoke in a stern tone of his own.
"I think you know exactly why..."
"It's-It's about that contract, isn't it?"
"I figured you'd be smart enough to put two and two together. You're reply, if you couldn't tell it was displeasing to me."
"I'm sure people don't turn you down a lot." Eren replied back in a snarky, almost witty way.
"No. No, they don't... So why have you?"
"Because I don't want a 'business deal', I want love."
"But you do love me, correct?"
Eren was apprehensive to say the least, worried what his answer may be. But he knew he couldn't lie to the CEO either.
"Yes, but do you love me?"
"Too vague."
The brunette seemed a bit aggravated by the cold response, he lowered his eyebrows to show that, though his tone in his next words would express his own displeasure.
"Do you want to, or atleast believe for a moment you could spend the rest of your life with me? Do you want to start a family, live together, hold me when I need it, have me hold you in return...? Do you feel it? Truly, madly, deeply?"
It hadn't ever happened to him before. He had always been the ones in control of the situation, he always knew exactly what he needed and wanted. Levi was sure of everything, he was a master of control and for one of the very few times in his life. He didn't have any whatsoever. He was speechless.
"You make me speechless, Eren. I feel limitless, like I can't control myself around you. That's why I need these rules— that's why I need you bound—"
"That wasn't my question." The younger shot back.
The tension in the room was a bit painfully obvious, this meeting could go either way. But not both, it had to go one.
"I don't know, but if you sign it's-" Was all Levi could manage before being cut off.
"Don't." Eren loved Levi and he was sure of it with every bone in his body. But he had also hardly ever put himself, his own emotions first. This time, he would do that. And if he continued on, signed the contract, falsely believing Levi even had an inclination of feeling, it would ruin him.
"You don't know. And for that... my answer will be no. Forever and always. Goodbye." The brunette continued, his voice cracking softly as he stood up and made his way out the door quickly. He didn't bother to look back, he couldn't for fear that Levi would be able to see the tears in those green eyes of his.
This is where it ended. Eren left Levi alone to ponder his emotions, knowing, if he ever found anyone else like Eren, he'd know and never let them leave like he did. Eren was heartbroken of course, but as many do with most heartbreaks... time helped heal his hurt and he moved on. Even if it was hard.
