I was at the mall the next day wandering around and looking for some part-time job. I want to do something this summer and I also wanna earn some extra money for myself. Besides, I don't have something to worry about like studies or what.
Suddenly, someone had call my name which made me turn around to that person. He was kind of a little old already, maybe middle age man, and he was waving at me while having a big smile on his face. I recognized him as he came towards me.
"Uncle Lee." I chimed and smiled.
"Luiss, its nice to see you. What are you doing here?"
"I was just wandering around. And, looking for a part-time job." I chuckled. "What about you, Uncle? What are you doing here?"
"Oh. I have a coffee shop around here. And we're looking for some employees right now." he gave me a smile.
"Really? That... That was nice."
"Come. You can work there if you want."
"Oh? Jinjjayo?" he just nod. "Omo, thank you Uncle. I didn't expect that and to see you here."
"Right, right. Let's go there and you can start working now if that's what you want." he chuckled as I follow behind him to his shop.
It was located a few blocks away from the mall and looks quite a little cozy and spacious. As you come inside, there's one corner that has a shelf with full of books. Oh, I love that place. And then some antique displays and pictures. It feels like it will take you back to the old times. Even the tables and chairs. But at the same time, there's a taste of modernization in the design of the other parts. There's quite a lot of people inside, too.
"Uh. Uncle Lee, what will I be doing here? I mean..."
"You can be an all-rounder. Is that okay?"
"Oh. T-that's okay." I smiled. "Can I start working now?"
"If you can. But I suggest you just take a look around first. You can start helping them tomorrow."
"O-okay."
I went to the bookshelf and started choosing a book that interest me. I sat on a seat and started reading the book. After some time of reading, someone sat on the seat beside me. He was wearing a cap and a shades. I just gave him a weird look. He turned to me and I turned back to the book that I am reading as I cleared my throat. I felt like he's staring at me but I just ignored him. He suddenly slide closer to me. I got surprised and moved away from him. But then he moved again closer to me.
"M-mwoyah? W-what are you doing?"
He carefully put his cap up a little and then his shades down, like peeking at me. I gasped when I recognized those eyes.
"W-what are you d-doing here?"
"Are you stalking me or something? Why are you here?" he asked.
"W-what? What are you talking about? You're the one who suddenly came here and---" I got cut off when he suddenly covered my mouth.
"You're so loud. Will you lower down your voice?" he whispered. I pry his hand away and glared at him.
"Don't touch me, you jerk. And how dare you even say that I'm stalking you? Tsh. Why would I do that to some kind of jerk like you?" he covered my mouth again with his hand.
"I said lower down your voice. Aish."
I tried to shuffled and to move away from his grip but he just keep on tightening it whenever I move. He let me stood up and dragged me out, people giving us stares and gossips.
"Wheor or you drog-ging me?" I mumbled. But he didn't answer and kept on walking. Suddenly, I saw that we were approaching the men's room. My eyes widened and I keep on moving to get away from his grip. But he's too strong. Ugh.
We went inside and he locked the door, put me inside a cubicle and blocked the door outside with himself so that I cant go out.
"Yah! Open this freaking door and let me out, you...! Ugh! Yah!" I screamed and started banging the door so hard. "Yah!" I keep on screaming on top of my lungs. "Yah! Let me out! Yah!"
"Aish. Just shut your mouth and I will let you out, okay?"
"Fine. What have I even done to you that you're doing this to me? Tch."
"Its because you're too noisy people might notice me."
"So what if they noticed you? Don't you like that?"
"Tch. Whatever."
"Just let me out now, will ya? I still have things to do."
"Okay, okay. Just stop stalking me or following me."
"Huh? Excuse me, I don't have any intention about you so don't you dare think that. Tsh. Let me out now."
I heard him took a few steps away in front of the door. I opened it, glaring at him. I started walking out of that place as I brushed and fixed myself.
"Babo." I whispered as I looked at him. "Tch."
I went back to my uncle's coffee shop and spent some more time hanging in that place.
