Chapter 2

Danielle's POV

"And 5-6-7-8," the instructor snapped.

We began our dance routine once again. We've been practicing for almost two hours getting ready for the VMA's in 3 days being Justin Timberlake's back up dancers! This was a huge deal for me! This was my first time being a back up dancers for a huge celebrity like JT!

"Okay ladies and gents! Take a quick break! 15 minutes and we will do this routine again and rehearsals will be complete!"

I quickly walked over to my dance bag and snatched out my water bottle. I took a huge drink and enjoyed the re-hydration. I was beat but I know in the end this whole thing will be worth it.

I checked my phone and noticed a text from Liam. I got so excited and a huge smiled appeared on my face.

From: Liam <3

"Hello gorgeous, text me when your rehearsals are finished. Love you babe ;) "

My stomach filled with butterflies as I continually re-read his text. He made me so happy.

"What are you smiling about?" Ashley walked over to me.

"Liam texted," I told her.

She groaned, "puppy love." She teased.

I showed her the text Liam sent.

"Hmmm," she sneered.

"What?" I placed my phone back into my bag.

"Nothing," she laughed, "anyway. Excited for this gig?"

"Yes!" I ecstatically cheered, "this is a huge deal!"

"I know!" She clapped.

"Justin Timberlake!! I cannot believe it," I cheered.

Ashley and I were so excited about this whole thing and Liam has been so supportive ever since I told him. He's even agreed to watch me dance on live television. Then it hit me. I am going to be on LIVE television and Liam is going to be watching me!!!

"What's wrong?" Ashley asked. I had stopped cheering once I realized Liam was going to be watching.

"Nothing, I'm fine." I lied.

"Okay people! Lets go!" Our dance instructor clapped rushing us to get back in position.

Ashley and I rushed over. We rehearsed about 3 times dancing to the collaboration of all of Justin's song he would be performing at the show. It was an amazing routine and very quick to remember. I was so hyped and I practiced really hard to get everything right.

As we were doing our last dance rehearsal the door to the studio opened and everyone stopped. Justin Timberlake came in though the door.

"Hey guys!" He waved.

I was ecstatic! I couldn't breathe, my heart was racing. Ashley was freaking out and I couldn't hold it in anymore.

"Oh my goodness!" I shouted, "Justin!"

"Hello beautiful lady," he walked over to me.

My heart was thumping. Justin called me beautiful and our foreheads were touching.

"Aren't you gorgeous," he bit his lip.

He was definitely flirting and I could tell all the other girls were jealous.

"What's your name?" He backed away and grabbed my hand.

"Danielle," I smiled.

"Well you are absolutely stunning," he looked at me up and down.

I blushed. This was so unexpected. He still didn't let go of my hand.

"Ok, I'm here to say hello and I am looking forward to having you amazing people dancing alongside me at the VMA'S. Tomorrow your rehearsal will be in Brooklyn! We're flying everyone there, so go home, pack up, and get ready because the flight will be first thing tomorrow morning at 5:30 a.m. Everyone please be at the airport by at least 5! See you all soon," he turned and winked at me, "and I will see you very soon as well." He kissed my hand and walked out.

My heart was still racing, " oh my god!"

"What!" Ashley rushed over, "omg Justin Timberlake likes you!"

"No-no he doesn't, he can't like me!" I said.

"Well he does girl! You definitely like him too!" She cheered.

"No! No! I can't like him!" I argued.

"Why not," Ashley was taken back at my answer.

"Because! I'm dating Liam remember!" Her face went from a huge smile to a large frown. Im with Liam, I reminded myself.

"Ugh! But you've never seen Liam! You don't know if he is who he is!" she yelled quietly.

"I do know who Liam is! He's sweet and generous and MY boyfriend!" I emphasized.

She groaned and crossed her arms in annoyance.

"Besides, I don't have a chance with someone like Justin Timberlake!" I added.

"What are you talking about!? Did you not see the way he looks at you!? and the way he spoke to you!" she gasped, "he even kissed your hand!"

"I can't," I raised my arms, "Liam is who I am with and I am happy with him!"

"Liam is just a guy who you text and message online!" She stated, "this is Justin Timberlake! this is huge!"

"No," I argued.

I can't date a huge pop start like Justin. I'm happy with Liam. Even if it is an online fling. I don't care, Liam makes me happy. I can never date anyone big and famous! Ever. Famous people are usually stuck up in relationships and they never last. I can't date a famous person, I reminded myself. Ever!
