Ken sees her everytime he passes the old music room. Most of the time, she's alone. Sometimes, other music club members are with her. However, regardless if she's alone or not, she always wear the same sad expression. The expression that made him curious of her. Even though people are happy and laughing around her, she always looks unamused, disinterested and lonely.

Despite this, she plays the violin beautifully. Even better than her co-club members. Ken is sure of that. Though not musically gifted, he heard quite a few violin performances and he can put her level on professional.

He first saw her when he got lost looking for the library in the old building. The university he studies is old and renowned. Maybe 200 years old? He really does not know and does not care. The only reason he's at this school is because he was forced by his parents.

The fateful day was his first day at school. He managed to skip the entrance ceremony and went out looking for a library. He was informed the biggest one is located at the old building. He feels that he needs something to relax him on his first day at this boring school and only books can calm him down.

He was walking briskly at the second floor of the building where the library is supposed to be located. Suddenly, he heard a faint sound. Someone was playing a violin. He got curious, so he went and looked for the room where the sound is coming from.

A few blocks away from where he stood, is a room with a sign "MUSIC HALL" . This is the room where the sound was coming from. As he went nearer the room, the sound became louder. There is a small window glass at the door, made for teachers to see what's going on inside the room. Ken, slowly checked who was the person playing violin in the almost abandoned floor ( Ken eventually knows that only music and arts major students uses this floor)

There, he saw her for the first time. She had a blank look on her face while gazing on the music sheets. She looks very young, probably due to her small stature. The girl may be around 4'11" or 5", probably a first year as well. Ken felt amused, he's not the only one who ditched the entrance ceremony. She has a long black hair and was wearing a long yellow dress, which made her shorter. She was still playing the violin, not noticing that someone was looking at her.

The violin she was holding caught Ken's attention. He often watched musical performances and orchestra due to his mom's encouragement or rather command. Those were the days he pretends to watch but ended up sleeping half of the time. Ken remembered that the violins he saw on those dreaded days were mahogany. This is the only time he saw a bright red violin, which is probably owned by the mysterious girl.

The girl was playing Beethoven's Symphony No. 5. Ken's familiar with the piece as his mom is a huge Beethoven fan. She did not notice him as she finished the piece. Her face changed from blank to sad (He eventually learned sad face is her default face)

Then, she might have felt someone was observing her so she darted a look at the door. Ken immediately hid and walked quietly away before she sees him. The library turns out to be just 3 rooms away from the Music Hall so Ken decided to proceed with his original plan. However, even though he got quite a few reads, the sound of the red violin playing Symphony no. 5 kept on playing inside his head.

----------------------------------------------------------

Due to his constant visit to the library (his peaceful haven) , he often pass the Music Hall. Constantly, he sees her, playing Mozart or Beethoven using her red violin. Often, he stops and hid near the door of the room to listen. He found out that not only books can calm him but also the sound that comes from the girl's violin. He is her fan, though he does not even know her name. He observes her from afar, wondering why she always seem to be lonely. Even if there are other people around her, she rarely talks. Sad to say but it seems that the only violinist he idolizes does not have any friend. He wants to approach her but he does not want to scare her. What would he say? Hey, I always observe you and listen to your violin, I am your number 1 fan, can we friends? That would surely creep her out. He knows that the girl is very shy and strangers talking to her may just frightened her.
