The day it all started – Homeless network

Hi, my name is Emily Raven.

I’m about to tell you my story, from the start.

But before I do I will tell you a little bit about me.

So I said that my name was Emily right? Well it is... But I also told you that my last name was Raven. That’s true, but something happened. I will tell you later what that was. Anyway in the beginning of my story my last name will be Reed. It is confusing I know but I will explain it to you all later. During the story I will sometimes make a little break to tell you something you need to understand what happened. Okay I will keep it short, I will just start at the beginning of my day.

The morning stared, it was still a little dark and cold. I kept my eyes closed for just a second to feel and hear the morning. Taxi driving up and down the street. People talking and yelling and the horrible smell of pee. Yes I said pee, When I opened my eyes I saw the underside of a bridge. My head hurts while I sat up straight. I looked up...Next to me...almost 3 feet away was a man lying down. He was old and had a beard. Every morning started the same one the streets, but everyday was different. I stood up and stretched myself. I was tired but I had to look for some breakfast or I had to beg for money. I walked down the street and sat down next to a lunchroom. I waited, most times people who were passing by gave me some food.

This time it didn’t happen and my belly started to rumble.

A man, dressed in a grey long coat and a blue scarf stopped in front of me. He looked at me,  for a moment I was caught in his gorgeous eyes.

Then he spoke to me. “I need you to find something for me” he said.

I just looked up to him, until I finally could speak.

“What do I have to look for?” On the man’s face that I recognized stood a small smirk. “I want you to find the hideout of this man” He showed me a photo of a man dressed in black. I laugh a bit while I took the photo. “Do you still have the same cell number?” I asked and he nodded. “Okay, give me...” I looked up to a big clock hanging in the lunchroom 08:30 AM.  “Give me 2 hours” I smiled back at him. He reached out his hand with some money in it. “Make it two and a half, take some breakfast first to get some more strength” I looked up to him and gratefully took his money. “Thank you” I mumbled a bit while staring at the money in my hand. When I looked up he wasn’t in front of me anymore, I looked a side and just saw a glimpse of him disappearing in the crowed. I totally forgot to ask any information about the man, that could be helpful because when I know something about him I could find a place where he liked to spend some time. I took a better look at the man in the picture. It was a very tall, bald man. Dressed in black clothes. “Hmmm, why are you looking for him Sherlock” I asked myself out loud. I was already eating breakfast in the lunchroom. I took the last sip of my tea, looked up to the clock. “Time to go then” I stood up and paid for the food. I had some money left that Sherlock gave me, enough to travel around with a cab.

This man where I had to look for was very dangerous, even to look for him could be dangerous. That man was nuts...
