{Chapter 3}

She aimed for the target and hit it right in the middle.She smiled and looked at him.He looked back at her and just went and pulled the arrow out.

"Why are you always so grumpy?"

"I'm not grumpy"He denies.

"Yeah right.I've never seen you smile.Not even once."She says and take another arrow and shoots it again in the middle.

"I don't need to smile."

"Every one needs to smile."

"No."

"Yes."

"Let's end this conversation here."He says signs.

The training continued for about an hour when Alec heard something.He quickly took his bow and arrows,and Snow did the same.

"Did you heart that?"He asked her.

"Yes....I think is-"

"Let's go!"He said and they started running.She looked back and saw soldiers from the castle running behind them.They runned faster and managed to hide behind a big rock without being seen.Suddenly,a voice broke the silence.

"Come out  come out wherever you are..."The voice of the evil queen sounded behind them."You know I'll find you...my dear dear Alec...I can smell your guilt about Amara from miles away..."She said and Snow saw his body tense."And my sweet Snow White,I can feel your grief about your stupid father!"She could feel the tears of anger rising in her eyes and she made a move to get up but Alec stopped her.Suddenly two soldiers drag them out of their little hiding place.

"A rock?Really?"She sarcastically asked.Alec didn't replied.He just looked at her and spited in front of her feet and the two soldiers that held him,they had him now on his knees.

"Listen to me..huntsman.No one disrespects me,and gets away with his life.But I'm gonna do it extra special for you.I'll let you die slowly."She said and took out a dagger and cutted him on his chest and one of her mans,kicked him,making him fall on the ground."Goodbye huntsman..and Snow White."She said and left with a grin and her soldiers followed.

Snow run to Alec and turned him around.

"Oh God..are you okay?"She said worried.

"Do I look okay?"He asked and groaned in pain and she sited him down.

"The blade had poison on it,didn't it?"She said and he looked at her.

"Yes...Grab that flower and smash it"He said and pointed at a red flower,and she did what he said.

He took off his shirt and Snow successfully managed to keep her eyes away from his body.

"Now,take the flower and put it on my wound."

"Oh God that's disgusting.."

"Okay how about this.If you don't do it,I'm dead."He said and she took a deep breath before she did as he told her,and he groaned in pain.When she saw he was going to be fine,she walked away and gathered some sticks to open a fire.She tried for ten minutes before she finally succeed.She looked at him and she saw him sleeping and she smiled.He looked cute,relaxed and with no worries.She liked it.

After two hours,he woke up.He heard some sobbing and he looked at Snow.She was holding something.He got up and approached her.He saw that she was holding a small necklace.

"Hey are you okay?"He asks and sits next to her and she looked at him with her wet green eyes.

"I'm fine."She said and looked away.A moment passed when he decided to speak.

"Amara was my fiance."He said and she looked at me.

"Your fiance?"She asked surprised.

"Yes..I wasn't always so..grumpy."He said and chuckled.But that chuckled hide all the grief he was holding."I was happy.She made me happy.She was rich and I,I was just a little humble man.The first time I saw her,she was getting robbed by some guys,and I um,I kind of saved her and like that,our little story began.We fell in love,and we secretly got engaged.But the one thing that destroyed us,it was the one I decided to forget.She was the evil queens cousin,and the evil queen really 'liked' Amara.She wanted her to stay right there,in the case she ever needed her or something.When Amara told me that she was close in finding about our relationship,I told her not to worry.That everything would be okay."He said and made a pause to take a deep breath."I told her to run away together.That we would build a future together,away from all this.I told my father what I was planning.I trusted him.I mean,he was my father.There was no way he would betray me like this.I guess I was wrong.The next night,just when we were about to leave,she showed up with my father next to her.She told me I wasn't worthy for her.That I would never be worthy for her,and to 'teach' me a 'lesson',she killed her.Her own blood.She ribbed her heart out.After that,the rest are obvious.I swore that I would take revenge from her,and from my father."

Snow managed not to cry.She never imagined what he's been through.She always thought that he just was a grumpy person by choice.But he wasn't.

"This was my mother's.."She says and shows him the necklace."My father gave it to me as a present at my seventh birthday.He said that it was a proof of what a strong girl I was,and what an amazing woman and queen I would be one day."She said and couldn't stop the tears from escaping her eyes."The next morning I found him dead..stubbed in the heart by her.She locked me up in a tower for years before I escaped.And I-I just wish that-"She said but she couldn't end her sentance.She broke down in tears.Alec looked at her,and felt sympathy.He couldn't stand watching her like this.He got close to her,hugged her and holded her in his arms until she fell asleep..
