Waiting.
Waiting for you,
To see you.
You walk home
At 7:32.
It's now 7:30.
I'm getting anxious
Anxious to see you,
Your glow
And your light.

As I wait for you,
I record a new diary entry.
All I do is whisper,
"He's coming"
I say it continuously
As if I'm pleading for the gods
To let him come.
7:32
It hits the time.
He walks out the door.
As if he's walking down those stairs,
From the gods above,
As an angel.
I stop the recording.
And I breathe.
As I walk out into the street,
He spots me.
And I walk away.
