*(y/n)'s POV*

     I had finally made it to the guard tower with three minutes to spare. I had run into a woman arguing with a man about a price. But as I went over to talk, the woman made eye contact with me and ran off. I understood the reason but ended up talking with the man for a minute or two since I knew him.
     I made my way up to the top of the guard tower to be met with Zane and Katelyn. So this must have been where Katelyn was. After this I should tell Jeffory so he stops worrying.
     "(y/n) the (j/n). Good to see you made it. I knew you wouldn't disappoint me." Zane smiled wickedly. I just nodded my head indicating he could say what was needed. "Katelyn, (y/n). I need the both of you to head to the village Phoenix Drop. They have all types of people there with different abilities and could eventually cause a threat. I need you two to go there and find answers. Katelyn that will be your main part of this. (y/n). I need you to kill the lord at any chance you may get. Since I have a feeling the both of you will agree, I have a boat getting ready for your trip. And here are communication amulets so you can keep me updated. Remember not to say a word about this. Now. You two can leave to get ready. The boat plans on leaving in two days at noon. And don't disappoint." He some what smiled before walking past us.
Katelyn and I turned to look at each other. "So has this been where you were? Jeffory was worried and didn't know where you were." I stated.
"Yes. Sorry, I didn't mean to worry. I just had to take care of some last minute orders. Nothing too big." She smiled.
"If that's the case, then we should probably start patroling around the area. And maybe find Jeffory while we're at it."
"Yes. That would be a good idea. I swear. Jeffory worries too much. One day it will kill him." Katelyn joked. I laughed a bit with her before heading out.

*short time skip*

"Sir. I have something to discuss with you." We heard one of the guards in the area state quite loudly.
"What is it?" The guard stated back seeming annoyed.
"Do you want to go check it out?" Katelyn asked.
"Why not. It might be interesting." I smiled.

I'm sorry if this is really bad. I've never really written something like this before. But I'm trying my best to make this interesting. So if anyone might have an opinion on how to make this better, please let me know.
