Jess get back here. My Fathers command rang through my ears as I continued to run through the forest in my wolf form. Letting out a laugh which sounded more like a howl I increased my pace til I reached my Lake.

Escaping the duties of pack life was relaxing. I learned that breaking the rules meant they couldn't break you. Though there was an extent to my wild side I lived on edge for both Sebastian and I. I was highly grateful being born second to my elder brother. Meaning Sebastian would inherit the Alpha position with all of Its responsibility and not me. Thank goddess.

Facing towards the borderline I heard bootsteps about steps about a quarter mile up. That wouldn't have been a problem if I smelt other wolves. Growling frustrated I turned back and sprinted towards home so the humans wouldn't be scared of seeing a wolf.

Deans POV

Shhh. I punched Liam in the arm. Due to the increase of werewolves and lack of hunters I was asked by higher ups to train these inexperienced morons. Liam, Zachary and Kyle all 17 and all completely hopeless when it came to hunting.

"Sorry Dean." He spoke too loudly. Face palming myself I stopped walking and faced the boys. "Werewolves have extraordinary hearing which means you shut up while working ok." "But this is practice" Liam whined. Zachary And Kyle stood silent. Smart boys. Grabbing Liam by the collar and shoving him into a tree I let out a frustrated sigh "Practice makes progress. And if you go up against those mutts without properly training you don't deserve to live"

Hearing a growl echo in the distance made our current conversation cease. Liam Zachary and Kyle Looked scared beyond belief. "Lessons over, Scram" I told them while making my way towards the direction of the noise. Hearing the heavy footsteps of those idiots run away pissed me off even more. At 16 I dedicated my time to hunting. 14 years later I'm the best there is but even back then I was no coward. Shaking my head I made my way to a small lake.

Sighing I sat down. This beautiful land was most likely full of those mutts considering they travel in packs. This was supposed to be a test run with no actual chance of seeing a werewolf. Taking out my phone time to inform the agency.

Jessie's POV

"What were you thinking? Leaving without letting us know" my father lectured.
" I'm almost eighteen and-"
"That's not the point Jess what if something happened to you ?!" "Like what?" I bit back a growl. He was being completely unreasonable. "You could've been killed" his voice was barely above a whisper. This moment was brought to you by the letters W T & F. "Dad what are you talking about. We're fireblaze. Only an idiot would mess with our pack" I tried to lighten the mood. But the serious look on his face told me that wouldn't be happening any time soon. "Sit down Jess ". "Dad you're scaring me." "Good. The moonshine pack has been exterminated. The reports are on the table." He calmly stated and walked out of the room.

If you know my dad you'd know that his calm voice in serious situations was not a good sign at all. Which is understandable. The moonshine pack was my uncles pack. I am sad for our loss but not completely broken up about it. My uncles pack excluded themselves from a lot of the werewolf community and I've had minimal contact with them. But the pain my dads going through is probably way worst. I can't imagine ever losing Sebastian.

Looking at the reports I read about a guy named Dean. Hes human and single handedly murdered my uncles pack. Shivering I kept reading more and more about him Til I felt as if I've known him forever. Dean. His name gave me shivers. Now if only there was a face to match the name.
