One

"We are friends and we are going to stick together" said young naive me from three years ago
Yeah a lot has happened since then
My best friend that was a girl died ohh and did I forget to mention she was my twin sister
It was just me and Jax for two years until he asked me out and I said yes
He broke my heart three years later
And we stopped talking I am scared
Scared I will never be happy again
That i wont have anyone
My parents left me to travel around the world after my sister died
I stayed with my grandparents
And when i turned sixteen i was given a car and house which is why i am here unpacking
I sat down my lamp  then looked around and realized i was done
Right as I sat down on my bed I heard a knock at my front door
I went downstairs and opened the door to find the one and only fudging Jax Harper
I blinked confused
Oh my gosh I totally forgot he lived on north avenue
He looked confused to
"Hi.." I cut him off my hugging him
I needed one of his awesome and warm hugs
I have for a year
He hugged back after a minute
I whispered "I missed you so much" into the crook of his neck
"Probably not as much as I did!"he whispered back
I pulled away
"Um I knew someone was moving in
Just not someone so important to me that I lost  because of myself
Lyric when you saw me in the hallway... When Adriana kissed me she was dared
She was also dared to make sure you were there
I found that out 5 months ago
And I felt so used but mostly I felt sorry for you because I kissed her back and asked her out a month later..." That's kinda when I lost it
I hated when people felt sorry for me
I snapped
"You fudging kissed her back... Yes I am still in love you but YOU kissed her back" I started crying
Jax got closer to me and wiped a tear away
I looked down
He placed his hand under my chin and gently lifted my head up I looked up and next thing I knew we were staring at each other
This was so cliché but I did not care

I looked at my watch
Ugh I had to go give some skateboarding lessons "um I have I go"
I grabbed my skateboard and walked away
After making sure the Door was locked
Jax was dumbfounded I closed the door since he did not
And walked away
