"I am not sure I should do this, mate," Max mutters quietly since Zayn is giving him the best death glare he can. "You promised to help me and you are going to do it!" Zayn exclaims furiously, secretly hoping he will agree to this. "See, its really simple. You just have to sneak into Alisha's house and try to find that disc. And I will be here with her in the party, ensuring she doesn't find out anything about it," Zayn says it all in a single breath looking at his friend with anticipating eyes. "But what if her neighbours find out or someone knocks on the door or ... There are numerous possibilities for this to go wrong," "Oh c'mon! This is not the first time you are going to rob a house. You have robbed high security vaults and you are scared to sneak-" "Those people didn't know me!" Exclaims Max furiously, not giving Zayn a chance to complete his rant. "She doesn't know you either," Zayn mumbles sharply with a pointing gaze which makes Max shudder a little. "Okay. I am doing it," he agrees unable to find any excuses to get away from this. "But if this thing goes south, I am putting the whole blame on you," Max completes his statement very calmly emphasizing on each word.

While Max prepares to sneak into the house in few hours, Zayn is all set adjusting his collar as he contemplates on whether a bow tie is necessary but goes against wearing it. "You owe me big time for this," Max mutters, securing his small backpack on his back with a small glare which Zayn ignores as he stares at his own reflection in the mirror. "I have to get there soon, atleast before that jerk gets to her.." Zayn mumbles mostly to himself but that doesn't stop Max from listening to it. Both men get on their beloved bikes and part ways to accomplish their tasks.

Zayn is unsure if Max is to be trusted with the disc; for all he knows Max might hand it over to boss, maybe to claim his life of peace or gain the leader's trust though he knows Max will obviously let him know about his plan unlike he himself. He has no option except to keep half of his plan hidden so as to execute it with perfection. Soon, he is right in front of the venue gates where he chucks the key to valet, smirking at the poor guy's drooling face and walks straight towards the lady with the names.

It is making him nervous as he enters the large hall to find her amidst all the lights and unwanted bling. His heart is already thundering against his ribcage with the weird eagerness to meet her filling him. The moment his eyes find a glimpse of that watch, he starts walking in that direction. It has to be her which is confirmed when he reaches her, only to be disappointed by her company. Alan. Though, right now Zayn found it pretty easy to ignore this man who usually got on his nerves. Alisha seemed anxious in Alan's company which has been mixed with slight relief on Zayn's arrival. He takes in her appearance and of course, she has to be the simple elegant beauty in the hall, atleast for him. "Alisha, I hope you are enjoying this party," Alan eagerly adds to the already boring conversation going on between them. She nods trying to end it since the past ten minutes but failing in her attempt.

Alan notices Zayn nearby and decides to take his advice to gain Alisha's interest. "Zayn, my friend!" Alan exclaims to catch his attention. Little did Alan knew, Zayn had his ears perked up to catch the minimal amount of words flying between them. Zayn turns around with a slight surprise in his voice as he returns the fake gesture, "Hey Alan!" and fake man hugs are exchanged only for Alan to mumble a 'Help me get the lady' in his ear. Zayn is nervous, praying that she doesn't let out his secret of their multiple meetings. "Alisha, meet my best mate, Zayn and this beautiful lady here represents my new business partner," Alan introduces them who are no where near to being strangers. Alisha smiles and shakes Zayn's extended hand formally. "Congratulations!" He adds to make it seem a genuine first meet and she keeps up the unsaid ruse by replying with a polite 'Thank you'.

Zayn gestures Alan to get her a drink when he is out of her vision. Alan nods slightly, "I will get you a drink, Alisha. Zayn will keep you company," He adds before walking away and gesturing Zayn to set them up. He nods with a smile as though on the other hand his mind is thinking of the total opposite. "Thank God! I couldn't bear him anymore. And you are best friends with this guy! How can-" "Alisha, listen to me before he comes back. He is only acting as my best friend. He just needs my help to get you to like him. I know him, its true but I despise him more than you can imagine, so just do as I tell you.." Zayn finishes quickly, all in one go. "And why should I trust you?" Alisha counters him and she did have a valid point but then she notices the frustrating man coming back with two glasses. So she laughs mumbling 'fine' somewhere between those fake laughs. "Act like you are interested in him. I'll get you out of this. Promise," Zayn instructs her and she goes along with their act.

The night seems to be never ending for her; with the number of people Alan is introducing her to; who rather desperately wants to escape this while on the other hand, he is trying his best to keep Alan away from her, thanks to all those party guests who want to impress Alan. Zayn's phone vibrates in his pocket awaiting his attention and he reluctantly receives it. "Zayn! Its been 2 damn hours man! I still can't find that damn disc," Max bellows with frustration clear in his voice. "Keep your voice down," he whisper yells in response, hoping to calm him down. "Just look for it and if you don't find it in the next 40 minutes, leave the place, okay?" "Fair enough, although I am sure I won't find it anywhere in the next so called 40 minutes if I can't find it in whole 2 hours," Max says each word quietly in a threatening manner. But that doesn't affect him. He already has a lot on his mind right now.

"So, how is the party so far," Alan asks Alisha for the hundredth time and no, there is no exaggeration to these words. "Its good so far," she replies nonchalantly, praying for this night to end soon. With slow jazzy music playing around and people slowly occupying the dance floor, Alan steals this opportunity to whisk away her heart. "Its such a nice tune, I think you should dance with me," he states, his cocky arrogant side making a re-appearance which leaves Alisha dumbfounded. "Dance?! Alan, I don't think I can-" But before she can complete her sentence, he has already grabbed her hand and is pulling her towards him. Zayn is not far away from the unfitting couple and he sure ain't happy when he sees the scene unfolding in front of him. And as if that wasn't enough, Zayn has to endure Alan's hand being placed of Alisha's waist as he shows off his waltzing moves. The intensity with which Zayn is staring at him can easily melt metals and his mind is desperately trying to come up with a plan to get Alan away from her. After all, Zayn still has her written on his mind and soul. The ceasefire between his heart and brain is violated. This time, its his brain who wants to revolt and join the doings of the heart.
