Heroes (KYRSp33dy x Female!reader)

(AN: Again I' truly sorry for not updating for a long time.. Anyways I hope you enjoy the story!

Also I'll give you some background on Speedy and the reader's relationship. The reader and Speedy have been dating for 2 years and Speedy has had thoughts of asking her a certain question for some time, he was just waiting for the perfect moment. He finds that moment while in this story.

Speedy's POV:

"Heroes? What are you talking about, (y/f/n)?" I ask the girl sitting beside me.

"Yeah, heroes. Do you see yourself as a one? Many people see you as one." (y/f/n) says while looking up at the stars.

"I'm no hero, (y/f/n). Who even thinks that of me?" I ask.

"Your fans, they see you as their hero. Many wish they could be like you." (y/f/n) says to me.

"I'm no hero, I'm just a normal person. What about you (y/f/n)? do you think you're a hero?" I say.

"You're my hero, Speedy. Nice try getting me to agree with you, but it won't work. I believe I' a hero to some people, like I'm (b/n) hero. He looks up to me, wants to be like me. Heroes don't need superpowers or wear capes, some just wear headphones and play games." (y/f/n) tells me while she stares into my eyes.

I look away not knowing what to do or say, 'I'm her hero?' I think. Finally after a few minutes of silence I say "you're my hero as well, (y/f/n). I'd be lost without you. You're the most perfect hero there is, I guess some hero swear t-shirts and listen to tons of music."

(y/f/n) just laughs while smiling, after a few seconds of hearing her beautiful laughter she finally calms down and says "I'm happy to be your hero, Speedy."

'I want to kiss her' I think, but stop myself because I think of something else I'd rather do more. Getting on one knee I pull out a small box and open it, (y/f/n) gasps a little when she sees it, as I say "(y/f/n)? Would you like to be a hero with me forever?"

"Oh Speedy! I'd love to be a hero with you forever!" (y/f/n), my girlfriend of 2 years now my fiancé, sad jumping into my arms giving me a hug and a kiss.

"Let's be heroes forever." I say after our kiss ended, (y/f/n) just smiles happily while staring at me.

"You'll definitely be my hero forever, love" (y/f/n) says before giving me another kiss.
