Falling Hard for a Basketball Player

Chapter 6

Savannah POV:

I woke up in a room. The room was all white and my vision was a blur. When I regain my vision I saw that I was in the hospital. Then it all came back to me. I remember I went to go look for Nikki,fighting, Mike. MIKE!! I was now worrying. Where is he? Is he hurt? Wait! Why I'm I thinking of him. He doesn't care if I died there and then. "Savannah your awake!!" Yelled someone. I thought of Mike running up so my bedside. I turned my head and saw that it was Nikki. I was hurt. I was happy to see her but I would of been happy to see Mike.

"Oh my gosh Savannah I thougt you were dead. Did you know you lost a lot of blood?" Said Nikki.

"Oh." I said. Oh was all I could say. "What happened that night." I finally said.

"Well if youo really want to know." Nikki began.

FLASH BACK

Nikki's POV:

I was running as fast as I can. I have to get away. I have to get away was all I thought. Then I saw a car. Yes help.

"HELP HELP OVER HERE!!!" I yelled. The car stopped and I saw a figure get out of the car. It was Mike.

"Mike I'am so glad you are here. Savannah and this guy. He kidnapped me and Savannah she came to save me and and." Then I broke down crying. I feel to my knees.

"Hey it's OK Savannah will be alright I go get her and then we can forget this thing happened." Said Mike.

He left and man I didn't know he run that fast. I saw him enter the house and then I got up and ran to your car or you can say your dads car. I got in and then I heard screaming and yelling and the thought came to me. I'm your best friend I can't leave a best friend behind. I whipped out my cell phone and called 911.

*CALLING 911*

Operator-"911 What's your emergancy?"

Nikki-"Help I been kidnapped but my friend came to save me but there finding and I hear screaming and theres blood please send an ambulance."

Operantor-"OK mam all I need for you is to stay calm and tell me your location?"

Nikki-"Last house on 13th ST.

Operator-"OK mam the police are on there w-"

Nikki-"Hello Hello!!"

I looked at my phone and said I had no reseption. Then the thing I didn't want to hear was the gun shot. *BANG* I turned my attention to the house and then worst came to me. Please tell me Savannah or Mike did not get home. That was all I thought and I saw a flash and another gun shout. *BANG* I got out of the car and ran to the the house. Then I saw a figure jump out the window. And he was holding his arm. I followed that figure and saw that it was the guy who kidnapped me. I sprinted towards him and I guess I was loud because he turned around and saw me running and he started to run towards the woods. I started to get tired and I fell to the ground. I was breathing heavily and saw that there was a blood trail along the gravel and then it stops when it reaches the grass. I got up and ran back to the house. I opened the front door and I was shocked. It was a mess there was blood everywhere. i ran to the room and I just stood there and stared at it. I put my hean on the door knobbed and opened the door. I saw you Savannah lying on the ground with a gash to your stomach and for a moment there I thought I lost you. I thought I lost my best friend. A friend whom I knew forever since the day we went to school together. When we were 4 and were in Pre-K where you put glue on my arm and I drew on your face at nap time. That's where we became friends. And to think I almost losted you. I saw Mike on the ground by the door with his head in his hands. There again I thought he was dead to. But he looked at me and it looked like he was confused. He looked and saw you and he got up and ran towards you. He was there looking at you then looking at me.

"What happend Mike?" I said

"I was walking down these hallways and then I found the door you told me to go to and I opened it and saw Savannah with a knife to her stomach. I watched her say my name and then the guy pulled it out and she fell to the floor. I was shocked and I couldn't move. I saw him walk towards me with the knife we started to fight then him and me saw something shiny. It was Savannah with a gun. She it was pointed at us. I was telling her don't shoot Savannah it's me Mike. I kept telling her over and over and then she turned the gun towards him and shoot him in the arm. Then she turned the gun towards me and I fell to the ground before she shot. And then she dropped the gun and now she like this."

I was crying now holding your hand while Mike hold the other one. Then we heard the anbulance and then Mike got up and left and that was all I saw of Mike and I never saw him again.

FLASH BACK OVER

Savannah's POV:

I was crying for Nikki for what she been through. She thought I was dead. But I'm glad she didn't just left and go home. She called help and went back to help me. I started to laugh and I looked up at Nikki who was looking at me weird.

"I rememered that day when I put glue all over your arm. Then for payback you drew on my face at nap time. Good times good times." I said.

We both began to laugh.

"So you haven't seen Mike?" I said now thinking about him. She nodded. Oh how I wish I could see him again. How his hair was so perfect. How his blue eyes always put me on cloud 9. Then I started to sing just randomly about Mike.

His black shaggy hair falls perfectly on his face.

And don't forget those blue eyes they always put me on cloud 9.

Everytime I see your face it always brightens up my day.

Ever since I met you I hasn't been the same all you got me doing is putting hearts around your name.

Hearts around your name.

Nikki looked at me. I started to laugh. She was laughing too.

"Are you like a song writer or what." Nikki said.

"Well I never told you but yes yes I'm and I'm serious." I said.

"That was a cool song you made like what 5 seconds." Nikki said.

"Ha thanks." I said.

"You can't get him off your mind." Nikki said.

"I can't he was like everything to me." I said.

"I thought he doesn't care about you?" Said Nikki while she was texting someone.

"Yes he said that but I really like him alot." I said.

"So he like on your mind." Said Nikki.

"More then ever." I said.

"What would you tell him if he like you." Said Nikki.

"I would say, Mike I really like you ever since I laid my eyes on you. I don't care what my brother thinks or what anybody thinks I really like you a lot and I'm cool if you don't feel the same way but I thought it was time to tell you because it was eating me alive when I see you smiling and laughing and I was scared to tell you." I said.

Then I saw Nikki with a grin on her face. I saw her tilt her head towards the door. I looked at her confused. Why is she telling me to look at the door? I turned my head towards then door and saw why she did that. I turned red as a apple and was also shocked. Low and behold Mike was with a huge smile and he was leaning against the door.

"Mike did you hear everything." I said.
