The sky was dabbled with red, orange, and yellow. The sun was halfway down on the horizon, creating a beautiful scene.
"Waaa~! Yao hyung! Look at this!" Yong Soo intently stared at the sunset with great fascination.
China came out of the house at the request of the young nation and sat next to him.
"It is very beautiful aru." Yao marveled at the sunset. For all the years of his long existence, he had never seen a sunset so vibrant.
The two nations watched the whole sunset. When only a few rays could manage to light the sky, the young Korean tugged at the sleeve of the older Chinese man.
"Hyung, am I your favorite?"
Yao was taken back by the sudden question. He can't exactly say Yong Soo was his favorite. All the nations he was raising were important and very dear to him. His next thought would be the consequences of his answer. If he said yes, Yong Soo would cling to him and annoy him. If he said no, Yong Soo would sulk around and annoy him in attempts to be his favorite one. The options weren't that great.
"Uh... Aru..." Yao became transfixed in Yong Soo's puppy dog eyes. Oh how could he say no?
"Yes, you are my favorite." Yao gave in with a sigh and patted the Korean's head.
Yong Soo jumped up in the air and celebrated. "I'M HYUNG's FAVORITE DA-ZE!" His shout echoed throughout the remote region.
"Aiyah! Be quiet!" Yao scolded. He put Yong Soo in his lap. He had to admit, the little nation was cute.
/Grope/
"You little-!" Before Yao could do anything, Yong Soo ran off, laughing excessively.
"I take back what I said earlier aru." With that, Yao slowly walked back into his house.
---------------------------------------------
Kiku was painting the unusually, eye-catching sunset nearby the house. Hyung Soo was not far off, spending time by himself.
Almost done with his painting, he heard yelling from both Yao and Yong Soo.
Not again, Kiku thought.
Before Japan knew what was happening, Yong Soo sprinted towards him at full speed, with no chance of even slowing down. This knocked Kiku over, which in turn knocked over some ink that ruined his precious painting. Kiku didn't get angry very much but this sudden event made fury wash over him.
"You come back here now!" He grabbed a bamboo stick beside him.
"Never da-ze!" Yong Soo ran to his brother, disturbing his quiet time.
"IDIOT BROTHER!"
The one angry nation and a half a furious nation chased half a nation with bamboo sticks around the small house.
