Grace POVThe smells that came from the kitchen fasten up my pace on my way to the kitchen. I just can't become oh-so-girly when it comes to food. I am literally just can't turned down food. So, if you're want to be part of my life, I mean by reading this story, you seriously need to get ready with my large appetite. It will come out of nowhere just like your creepy friend in class or the missing pen that actually in your pencil case.
I walk in while smiling to my dad and greets him with a pecks on the cheek. I immediately join my mom on the kitchen counter, peeking from behind her on our breakfast today. Mhmm, it is a scramble eggs with roasted broad beans! Don't judge me please, it's good. No doubt on that one.
I put my scramble eggs and broad beans on my toast. I'm so crazy with toast. I still remembered I had a PBnJ sandwich phobia when I was 16. Which made me eat PBnJ sandwiches all day long, everyday for about a month! What a sweet memories that leads me to had a mile of run for a few weeks to get rid of those fats.Stupid fats. If you're not exist, there is no such things as calories counting in my diets.
I open my mouth large enough, for making sure there is no egg or bean fall. Miraculously, there is a few. My parents just shake their head when they saw what I'm doing. Well, it is not my fault, that I'm rushing to college.
"honey, make sure that you come home early, today." With that being said, there comes a few more beans that fall from my agape mouth. I quickly nod my head, to my mom.
" Well, the guesses would be a mystery until you meet them." my mom answered my question just like she knew what is going on in my mind.
"moomcake" I replied while chewing faster and ready to run for my life to my car. I then get up and give both my parents a peck on their cheek, leaving a stain of broad beans on it. Noticing it, I wipe my mouth with a napkin that I grabbed from my mom's lap.
"byeee!" I run towards my car while gulping the last bites of my toast. The engines of my white Volkswagen roar to life, as I close the door of my car. I had this habits which is just to let my car's door to open, until I ignites the engine. What a way to make kidnapping an easy things to do. No doubt that I will be the next victim.
"Yeah, he is obviously handsome, and he will win. I mean, everyone literally drools over him. I strongly believe that girls really kiss the ground whenever he walks by. " Sienna then take a seat besides me while still keep talking about her so-called-childhood-crush.
"Yeah, there is no doubt that girls whose more stupid than you perhaps, even as stupid as you would kiss the ground whenever he walks by." I sarcastically replied to her about my opinion on her childhood crush, which gained her attention. Seriously, whose not?
"SEE! This is exactly why you didn't have any crush yet. And don't even let me starts on how could you not have a celebrity crushes?!"
"Umm, did I?.Did I care about that? I in fact, had a crush on foods ever since I was so young. It just he didn't really understand what he felt towards me cause sometimes my cooks are good, and sometimes not so good." I retaliates on Sienna as Prof. Smiths walks in that creates silence between us.
"I had a crush on food, too" Sienna whispers to me while we copied down the notes, signalling this argument is a tie. It is a tie because we both can answered each others, without giving up and what we said is quite logical. It is not really a wasting -time-activities as you guys might think. Besides, because of this so- called arguments, I became quite popular in high school when I was the goddess of debates.
Well, sometimes Sienna quite helpful in making my life more fun, especially when she made us got detention for the whole month when we accidentally, I mean she accidentally created a food war and caused the whole cafeteria to turn into a cat vomit.
I parked my car in the garage when I noticed a Mercedes parked in my usual parking. OH, CRA....BBY PATTY ! No, bad words please. I totally forgot about the guesses! This is must because of my rush agreement with my mom that makes me forgot about it!
Well, it's certainly not my fault when I had a crazy phobia with toast. And not to forget when Sienna bringing our small argument into a big one, that she would regret forever as I'm the winner. I mean I'm born to be a goddess of debating, what can you do about it?
I walk into the living room while peeking through the long and big useless cabinets that my mom had put just to make sure, everyone that comes to our house see her big aquarium that being put in the middle of the cabinets that are packs with her countless books on fishes, aquariums, and amphibians. Really? It's not that we're going to change those fish with frogs or toads.
My good skills as a spy in peeking would be credited to my hobbies on stalking peoples, (mostly the handsome ones) on the internet. Well maybe a little credit to Sienna, cause she is the ones who taught me on how to do it. Which, makes her a professional in this and makes her a bad influences too. So, please pay attention with what your friends are teaching you, cause it might be a useful survival skill. As, for this one, I'm not so sure.
My peeks finally came to an end, when someones called my name from behind. I quickly realized there is no one in the living room. I turned around while mentally slammed my head and only to slammed my head twice after finding out whose the ones who had called me.
It is Noah Edwin. Crabby Patty.
