Harry bangs the door. He didn't even answer Niall when he asked how things went. Louis must have done something again.

"Liam, go check on Louis." I look up from my phone. "I'll go talk to Harry." Niall looks at me, as though asking me what I wanted him to do. "You ummm.. make sure the paps don't get in the house." I snap my fingers at him.

I grab my favourite maroon hoodie from the pile of clothes by the couch and head out the door. It must only be around 11:00 a.m. but the sun scorched as though it were already afternoon. What could have Louis done which is worse than getting urine on Harry? Seriously, Louis doesn't know when to stop. I spot Harry by the swings at the community park. I knew it would be the first place he'd go to. Back before Freeport was hitting it big, Harry and I already met at this very park and had some chat about how we both wanted to pursue different career goals. Anyway, that's another story for a different time.

"Hey," I smile. "Brought some smokes if you want some,"

"Thank you." he laughs, and his dimples deepen. "I don't want one though."

"What did he do this time?"

"I don't know, to be honest." he lets out a sigh.

We remain at the park for another hour, Harry swings back and forth while I just sit there, texting Lexi. I first met Lexi when Louis introduced her to us. I had just broken up with Sheila and Louis joked about how the end of my relationship signified the possibility of the start of his. I really like Lexi. I know Louis had a past with her, but she said they would never work out.

What if she was wrong? What if I was getting in the way of their affection for one another? Louis had a way of making her laugh and giggle like a little kid and I'd never be able to do the same even if I tried.

And I try.
