A Distraction

Chapter 6 Visitors

Everyone was in the kitchen eating breakfast while Robin was in the common room talking to BumbleBee, leader of the Titans East.

"Hey Robin. How is everyone?" BumbleBee asked

"Everyone is doing fine. How is your team holding up?" Robin asked.

"Their doing fine. We haven't seen you guys in a while. Do you mind if we come to visit?"

"Not at all."

"Okay. See ya in a few."

"Bye." Robin finished.

Robin walked back into the kitchen to find, to his relief, Beast boy and Raven talking to each other. They noticed Robin come in and greeted him."Morning Robin. How's the Teen Titans East doing?" Raven asked."They wanted to know if they could come and visit us and I obviously said yes."He replied.

"How wonderous. We shall prepare for their arrival." Starfire said flying out the kitchen to clean the tower."If you need me, I'll be on the couch reading a book." Raven said standing to go to the Common room."I'm gonna go hang with Rae."Beast boy said standing up to leave to the common room. "Have you noticed that Beast boy is spending a lot more time with Raven?" Cyborg asked. "I know whatta mean man."Robin replied.

" Maybe he wants to get on her good side so she don't get angry at him again. "Cyborg shrugged. " Wanna find out?" Robin asked curiously. "Sure. Why not?" Cyborg sighed

"YO, BEASTY. COME OVER HERE!" Cyborg yelled from the kitchen into the Common room. "I'll be right back." Beast boy whispered into Raven's ear." Don't stay too long." She whispered back in his ear. He grinned on his to the kitchen. Robin and Cyborg noticed this.

"So....I've just gotta ask. Are you and Raven dating?" Cyborg asked." Why would you say that?! No we're no dating!"Beast boy whisper shouted the last part so Raven wouldn't hear them." I'm just saying. Your hanging out with her a lot more since yesterday. Y'all are acting like your dating."Cyborg debated.

"Just because I hang out with her doesn't mean we're dating. I don't want her to be angry at me anymore." Beast boy countered.

"Hey you wanna hang out before the Titans East come?" Raven asked from the couch. "Sure. What you wanna do?" Beast boy asked from the kitchen. "Why don't we go to the park and just watch the clouds." Raven suggested to him." Sounds Awesome. Let me just go and change." Beast boy agreed running out the kitchen." Let me do the same." Raven said running out the common room.

5minutes later they both came back in to the common room. Beast boy was wearing a purple T-shirt and knee length grey sweatpants with Green and blue sneakers. Raven surprisingly had a light green skirt on; a black vest; black flats with a blue beanie that says THREAT in green letters.

When Beast boy saw Raven, he was awestruck. ' She looks like a goddess. ' he thought dreamily." We'll be back in 1 hour. Bye."Raven announced walking out the door with Beast boy.

At the park

The two titans walked until they found a nice, small, quite spot to sit on, away from people." Doesn't that cloud look like a puppy too you." Raven asked

"Yeah it kinda does. Doesn't that cloud look like a heart?" He asked. "It does. I'm enjoying our hang out time together." Raven said facing him." Same here."

They stared into each others eyes for a few minutes before turning away. They both blushed like crazy with red faces.

"Let's get back to the tower. I think T-East are at the tower already." Raven said standing up with Beast boy. They walked back home and sat on the couch. Starfire came and saw them both on the couch holding hands." Hello dearest friends. Why are you always holding hands? Is it another earth ritual?" She asked innocently. They both let go of their hands.

"Oh hey Star. When are the T-East coming?" Beast boy asked her blushing from the earlier mishap. "They shall be arriving at any moment." As if on cue, the doorbell rang. Starfire went to answer the door. "Why hello friends. It is very nice to have you stay with us for several day." Star said to the Titans East. "Hey girl. Thanks for having us here." BumbleBee said entering the tower with her team behind her. "Mas n Menos are watching over the city back at the tower so they can't come." BumbleBee said.

"Hello BumbleBee. Glad to have you and your team here" Robin said.

"Hey." they all said.

"Hey Bee. Haven't seen you in a while." Cyborg said giving her a hug. "Hey Sparky." She said happily. Starfire showed them to their rooms and said goodnight.
