Nick : *Sights* Well, here am I. A fresh new start at Hudson Falls
Sam : Hi. I haven't see you here. Are you lost?
Nick : Well, not actually. I'm new here. My name is Nick
Sam : I'm Sam. Nice meeting you!
Nick : Nice meeting you too... Is everyone here as friendly as you?
Sam : Well, I guess I do have a reputation for being nice!
Nick : That, I can believe!
Sam : Follow me. I'll show you around.
*They both went inside the campus and stopped a while in the hallway*
Sam : So why did you transfer here anyway?
*Then Nick remembered something. A flashback from the past. Pouring rain, the smell of grass, the roar of the crowd*
Nick : I came here for a chance to start over.
Sam : Oh. Well, let me know if you need something or any help. I transferred here when I was a Sophomore so I know what you're feeling bro.
Emma : Hey Sam! Who's the new guy?
Sam : Oh. Hi Emma! This is Nick. He just transferred here.
Emma : You picked a good day to start. Oh and Sam. There's a Pep Rally after school lunch to get everyone to be excited for the game on Friday! Sam, are you ready? I heard that the cheerleaders are practicing some new routine.
Nick : You're a cheerleader Sam? I guess I should have known.
Sam : Oh? And what's that supposed to mean?
Emma : I'm looking forward to hear this!
Nick : I just mean, it makes sense! Cheerleaders are very outgoing. I mean, you went out of your way just to welcome a total stranger to school.
Sam : You have a point. Before I started cheerleading, I was kinda shy.
Emma : And now you don't get nervous when you perform in front of the whole school.
Sam : Well, it's not exactly like that.
Nick : What's this Pep Rally for anyway?
Emma : The Hudson Falls football team is playing in the State Championship game this Friday. Everyone is really excited about it.
*Just then, someone runs into Nick*
Nick : Wo-aaah!
*Nick starts to lose his balance, falling forward. Nick almost fall over to Sam but he manage to catch himself*
Nick : Whew!
*Standing behind Nick, is a well-dressed guy*
Jason : Oh. Hey! You must be the new kid. Sorry 'bout running into you. I didn't see you there.
Nick : Really?! I'm not exactly easy to miss.
Jason : Hah! You got a good sense of humor. I like that!
Sam : Hey Jason! Me and Emma are showing Nick around.
