I got dressed in my dress i put on my jewelry then heels and then I my purse. I got done and took some pics and there was a knock on my door and my dad pushed his head in.

Dad: Hey sweetie.

Kim: Hey dad come in.

He came in and sat on my bed while I used the lipstick that Nicki gave me and redid my lips.

Dad: So I wanted to tell u that I'm leaving tonight to go to NOLA and handle some business.

Kim: O so you'll be back for my birthday and for us to go to New York right.

Dad: Yea I'll be back by Friday.
Kim: My birthday is Thursday dad.

Dad: Thursday morning.

Kim: Daddy if you got better things to do then you don't have to show up we can cancel.

Dad: Come here sweetie.

He called me to sit on his lap and I went and sat on his lap.

Dad: There is nothing more important then my baby girl. So if I got to miss this I will.

Kim: But I don't want my boring birthday to make u miss something important.

Dad: Stop saying that your birthday is not important its your first birthday with this family and I'm not gonna miss it.

Kim: Ok dad.

He kissed my head and I got up and my door opened.

Nicki: That was cute but its time to go and August is waiting on you.

Kim: ok.

I got done and then went downstairs where everyone was waiting.

All eyes where popping out of heads and all jaws were to the ground.

August: Wow.

Dad: That's my girl.

Nicki: Damn I done did a great job.

Becca: I know that's right.

Kim: Thank.

I walked over to August and he took my hand.

August: You look stunning.

Kim: Thank you and you look handsome in you 3 pieces.

August pops his calla and does and little spin.

August: Yea that me always look flyer then a morther-

Dad: Watch it boy before I slap u upside your head.

August: Sorry dad.

Nicki: Now go y'all are already late its 8:30.

We said our goodbyes and then got in his car and drove off.
