I woke up and looked around, I lay back down and start to tear up but I can't cry, I won't let myself. I get up and get in my dresser, lay out some clothes that they had in there and go brush my teeth. I get dressed and brush my hair, it's so thick that it takes about half an hour. A little boy comes in with out knocking and pretty much screams,"Breakfast is done! Come now!", and just like that he runs away leaving the door open. I can't even finish brushing my hair, oh well who's gonna care anyway.
I go downstairs, and sit at the huge table they have. There are pancakes, sausages, and biscuits. The first thing I do is grab a plate, then I get a biscuit and a sausage and reach for a pancake and realize everyone is staring at me in disgust, they are all holding hands bowing their heads. I'm not one to pray much but god knows I could use some help.
I grab their hands a bow my head along with them and act like i'm praying along with them. "Mom" finishes praying and i'm the first one to grab a pancake. It's not my fault i'm so hungry, all I get to eat is the food a program at school provides. I gobble everything up and grab seconds, I finish before everyone. I leave the table and go to "my" room. I lay back on my bed and daydream, I daydream about what my life could be, what a fabulous life I could live. My dream feels like it's real I laugh and smile. Then I remember I have to go to school tomorrow.
