My Everything

When you're standing next to me

And our fingers intertwine

My heart's full as it can be.

I know that you're all mine.

And when you turn to look at me

I cast my eyes to the ground

In hopes you won't be able to see

That it's true love I've found.

For I know my eyes betray my heart

And the love I have for you,

But then you turn and say, "Sweetheart,

Don't worry, I love you too."

And then I look up to your eyes,

Knowing you speak the truth.

The love we have is the highest prize

And will continue past our youth.

So I spoke the words, "I love you too."

For you're the only one

To make me feel the way I do.

I'm glad it's me you've won.

Only you are my moon and my stars-

My everything I should say.

This love we have is forever ours

And I'll cherish it night and day.
