I'm sure you're all wondering about Topaz. Even if you're not, I will still explain him. As mentioned before, he does have a farther dragon. Strang but true. Born and raised by it. Well, sort of. Topazes father was once a man. Cursed by a wicked man just after Topaz was born. He was to remain a dragon till the evil man was killed. But his strength was to much. He was never defeated. Or at least that was what came to be believed.
The dragon was big,blue,long, and had a nice look in his eye. The same went for his mother. Which you didn't know about. She too was cursed to be a dragon. The same color and just a big and beautiful. Sadly though. She did not make past a month.

She went to battle for her freedom herself. She did not want to bring Topazes father into trouble. So, she left late night. Flew away into the night sky. Father searched and searched but couldn't find her. Until one day, they got a letter.
It was to inform them that she had died in a battle. Along with many others. This was devastating news. Left alone to take care of the child, father dragon left deep into the wood to protect Topaz. He acted in hope that he would never be found. He couldn't lose the one thing he had left to love.
