Chapter 5: Paintball Fights (Part 1)

Mo and Taye- Daniel - 13 years old
Glitch and Lil T- Hannah - 12 years old

The campers were in their cabin talking to each other or playing games.

"I bet you can't snap that piece of wood in half." Peter said.

"I bet he can." Tyrell added.

"Oh I can." Daniel responded.

Daniel pulled the piece of wood off from the broken bed, and snapped it in half with his legs.

"I did it. BUT IT HURTS SO MUCH!" Daniel shouted.

"Haha." Peter and Tyrell laughed.

With the girls

"Gurls! I just got that glow-in-the-dark nail polish." Brianna says as she pulls it out of her bag. "I got some for you girls too."

"Omg! This is so fierce! How did you get it?" Pauline asked.

"You guys can't tell anyone." Brianna added.

"We won't." The girls answered.

"Pinky promise?" Brianna asks as she pulls out her pinky.

"Pinky promise." The girls say as they pinky promise Brianna.

"Okay, I brought my phone." Brianna says.

"No way! How did they not take it away from you? We all got our phones taken when we first got here!" Marylee says.

"I threw it past the sensors." Brianna added.

"You threw a 700 hundred dollar phone on the ground?" Hannah asked.

"Yeah..." Brianna answered.

"I would too!" Hannah added as all the girls laughed.

Girl logic.

The boys came to talk to the girls to see if they knew what activities they were doing, when they saw Brianna with her phone.

"You brought your phone?" Tyrell asked loudly.

"Shhhh! And yes she did! But you cannot tell anyone!" Marylee yelled.

"Oh we already know." Melody says as she walks into the cabin with Winter.

"Cough up your phone, Brianna." Winter adds.

"Fine." Brianna says as she gives her phone to Winter.

"This is going straight to your mother, and you know you're in big trouble." Melody said.

"Well anyways, we came to tell you that the first activity we are doing today is... DRUMROLL PLEASE." Winter says as Daniel starts to drum on one side of Peter's bunk. "PAINTBALL!"

"WOO!" Everyone yells.

"Won't I get hurt?" Peter asks.

"No, I guarantee that you will be fine." Melody answered.

"Are you sure." Peter questions.

"Yes." Melody adds.

Melody and Winter direct the children to the paintball course and gave them some paintball guns and helmets.

"Okay, so you know the basic instructions of paintball. You have to pull that trigger to shoot bullets, but to enable your shooting, you have to pull that little circular button." Winter explains.

"Okay, well. Let's assign teams! Boys vs girls!" Melody added.

The boys and the girls separated into their own parts of the course.

"3! 2! 1! Begin!" Melody and Winter shouted.

The boys came up and hid behind the fake beat-up car and Daniel explained their plan.

"Okay guys, Tyrell, go to the barrel over there and hold off that area." Daniel said.

"Got it!" Tyrell answered as he ran to the barrel on the other side of the course.

"Peter, you and I are gonna hold off this area." Daniel said.

"Otay." Peter answered.

Daniel stood up and shot down a barrel on the girls side only to reveal Hannah who was now running to another hideout. As Hannah was running, Tyrell shot her in her helmet and she fell onto the ground causing dust to twist around her body.

"I'm out. Please don't shoot." Hannah said as she was carefully walking out of the course with her hands in the air.

"Good job, Tyrell!" Peter yelled from across the course.

Peter was bored of staying in one spot and tried to do something heroic. He got up from the barrel and started to run while shooting. He shot Marylee on her arm, causing a red mark. While he was running and cheering at the same time, Pauline shot a paintball at him, and it went directly to his neck causing him to fall into the ground.

"Peter! Time out!" Daniel said as he and Tyrell were running to Peter.

Peter had been shot in the neck with a paintball. There was an exploded paintball bullet on his neck. Peter was crying hard as he was brought to Winter and Melody. In a twisted turn of events, Daniel and Tyrell were shot on their backs by Hannah and Brianna causing them to fall onto the ground with Peter falling on top of them.

"Oh my God! Time out! You girls are disqualified! Daniel, Tyrell, Peter! Are you okay?" Winter asked as she and Melody ran to the boys.

All the boys were injured by the girls, so the boys won by default basically.
