Ok, so I was at a Linkin Park concert where for some reason Mike Shinoda tried to do something fancy and fell off the stage so they asked the crowd if anyone knew the lyrics, and as a dedicated Linkin Park fan I know most of them, so I was screaming my heart out and then I saw Chester looking at me which made me scream even louder, until they pointed at me and said 'how about you?' So I got help from the security to help push me up to the stage and then Chester said 'so, what's your name?' And I said while breathing heavily and trying to keep my cool 'L-L-Lewis' and then Chester shouted to the crowd 'Let's all give a massive round of applause to Lewis!" And as I looked out all I could really see was what looked like a girl I knew called.... You know what it doesn't matter, maybe she's reading this right now... She'll know that its about her. Anyway, she saw me and as she did her jaw dropped and I could tell she was thinking 'Oh my god, is that Lewis?' And then Chester said to the crowd 'Let's go straight in and start with Bleed It Out!' And the crowd roared so much I nearly lost it, and as the guitar intro started I nearly forgot the words , but then I closed my eyes , and pretended I was just in my room, then I opened my eyes mid-verse and just sounded so much more confident... As I did so the crowd was screaming, jumping and going insane and Chester's voice is absolutely incredible! I don't get the way how he screams.... He was and is amazing... Anyway back to the concert, next song was Somewhere I belong, I shed a tear in this song and as my voice started to go into a crying like voice it was the chorus where I had a little time to fix myself.... After this song, Chester asked me if I could sing a song for him while he rests his voice. While it sounded crazy, I didn't pass up on it, next song was Breaking The Habit, and before we started I shouted to the crowd 'Are you ready, to break all your habits tonight?' The crowd just roared and then I said 'let's go!' And as I was singing, I nearly stumbled over but changed it into a move which luckily worked.... I was going red then the chorus came on and Chester came on and we did a duet, final songs were Victimized, Wretches and Kings, Waiting for the End, and When They Come For Me. For Victimized, Chester asked if I could try the scream... I accepted and did it and the crowd just went silent which was sort of bad..... Then Chester shouted to the crowd 'Let's do Wretches and Kings!' Which luckily changed the crowd so they were rocking about. I did the start speech which is my favourite part and Chester was just screaming massively to the chorus and I was bouncing around to the rhythm, for Waiting for the End.....
I fell and no one laughed but I knew they saw it, at the end of the concert I got Chester's, Mike's, and Rob Bourdons' phone number and gave us backstage passes to their next concert so it was a great time.
