School is a bland mix of "education" and boredom for the rest of the day. I'm finally released from the slow agony created by particularly pointless lessons and test I don't know the answers to by the blissful sound of the final bell. I dash to my locker, in a hurry to get out of Tamashi High, and retreat back to my home with the less powerful, mental version. I sprint to the front door and a student steps in my beeline from the middle of nowhere. We smash into each other.

"Sorry," I yelled to him.

He ran up to me.

"The names Jack," he said.

I rushed into the woods, accidentally leaving Jack behind. That could be taken offensively. If there was a chart that showed the patience level of everyone in the world, I probably would hit rock bottom. The snow covered trees loom over my path in a protective and capturing mood at the same time. I feel the trees will keep me safe, but they hold me captive in their loneliness.

It'll be only a few more minutes until I get home, but I need to take a break. I scrape the snow off of a stump and drop myself onto it. My school supplies are so heavy, they're the weight chained to my ankle, keeping me trapped in the prison of school. There is no escape. The only exit is time.

I notice something scurry through the snow in front of me. A humanoid silhouette. It flashes by again. Then it leaps from behind me.

"Hello!" Jack shouts.

I jump off of my makeshift stool in terror.

"You scared the hell out of me," I reply.

"That was the intention."

"You jerk."

I jokingly punch him in the shoulder.

"Ow..." He mutters.

"How come you're here?" I ask.

"How come you're here?" He repeats, with a drawn out 'you're.'

"Never mind," I answer.

"I'm almost home how about you find yours," I add, but not rudely.

"K, see ya' later," he replies.

I walk the remaining minutes to my cave and settle down in my room. Damn, I have a lot of homework. This'll take hours to complete, especially the chemistry stuff. Mini Tamashi High resides in my brain, with me teaching all the students important information about patience, and how patience is the key to being a successful student. Lots of patience, an overwhelming amount of patience. I'll just have to wait to find out whether they're right or not.

Steve is in my mental vault to. He's smiling at me and winking his sparkling brown eye, leaving me with only one to stare at. It's time to return to the real world now. Time to take care of energy, hunger, knowledge, and the other stuff my mind requires to run. I take a sip of blood and pass out on my bed.

I awake several hours later, after having a great dream that may or may not include me on a date with Steve. I better eat something for dinner, or I'll fall asleep starving. I feel like a turkey sandwich; a turkey sandwich with tomatoes, lettuce, onions, mayonnaise, and some bloody slices of turkey. I'm so hungry when I'm done toasting the bread, spreading on mayo, adding lettuce, tomatoes, and onions, and finally all those blood covered slices of turkey. I forget my manners and eat more than I can fit in my mouth, and start choking. The choking stops fast, but I still have that horrible aftereffect of something feeling like it is clogging your throat. I hate that feeling, so much. My choking incident did not do enough damage, however, to ruin the delicious taste of the perfection of a bloody, basic turkey sandwich. I'd better get some more rest though. School sucks for this reason, they rob the majority of your day and make it so that your free time is spent doing homework. They're conspiring against you, taking precious time from your short youth. Oh well, it can't be fixed. Good night.
