It was dark and I was drunk. The music banged against my head as if it was forcing entry. The lights flashed and the world was a blur. I could see him watching me so I ground seductively against my new dance partner as I stared into his eyes. I didn't care for the boy behind me; that was just it - he was a boy.
The man leaning against the bar seemed to be an animal. He was pure lean muscle and his eyes glowed almost opalescent in colour. I winked at him and turned to face the boy behind me. Let him watch if he couldn't be man enough to make a move. I focused on dancing with the boy, my eyes closed, hair flying. There was a tug and when I opened my eyes he was backing off, eyes wide. Turning to find out why he looked so freaked I bumped straight into the man from the bar. He stood tall and large blocking everyone else from my view. Dark hair flopped over one light eye as he smiled at me and asked me to dance. So we danced, and drank, and danced some more. And when he whispered I was going home with him I literally couldn't say no. I mean I tried but the words wouldn't come out. So I smiled and grinned and put a hand up to my friends as a goodbye as I walked past them. They stared slack jawed at me. When I said I didn't do things like this, I actually meant it. I am not a slut. I'm not a virgin but I've never had sex outside a relationship before.
I got into the cab with him. I don't remember the journey. It's like I was lost in him. We didn't talk or touch. We just stared at each other. Inside my body was screaming at me to get out before something happened but I couldn't move my legs. We pulled up outside a large Victorian house. Apart from the period it was very non-descript. Once there it was like time stopped for a moment and then there he was. He rained me with kisses; my face; my hair; my neck. I had my hands tangled into those dark waves as his eyes pierced me. He took my bottom lip in between his and he bit down and something warm ran down. I gasped at the shock and as I did that it was like he became something else, something other.
His features became sharper as did his teeth. My body went cold as I realised what the animal sense I felt in him was. Vampire, my mind purred. Quicker than lightning he struck like a snake. He attacked my neck with a ferocity I'd never felt before. It was not like the movies. He did nothing with his eyes to make the pain stop. It was pure force. He plunged through tendons and muscles until he found my vein slowly pumping blood and bit straight through. He sighed as my essence flowed into his mouth. I tried to push him away but he was like a rock and growled at my movements. The more scared I became the faster my heart beat and the weaker I began to feel. Within minutes I was reduced to weakly punching his chest as he held me in the most intimate of ways almost as if we really were lovers. I fought as my eyes began to close. I could still hear and could still feel but I couldn't muster the strength to open my eyes. As quickly as the assault began it ended. I felt him force my jaw open so harshly I couldn't believe it didn't crack. A hot metallic wetness spread into my mouth. I tried to spit it out but couldn't and swallowed instinctively so I didn't choke before passing out.
When I awoke again it was to the pain lancing through my arm. I was naked from the waist up, spread across the bed. The vampire fed from my wrist whilst I was pinned to the bed by his other arm which was hugging my curves. I whimpered and he drew back to look at me.
"You're awake," he confirmed, before kissing me fully on my mouth smearing my lips with my own blood. I whimpered and tried to pull away but I couldn't.
"W-w-what do y-y-you want from me? Please just let me go h-home"
"Shhh..." he purred, "Sleep".
I didn't even have time to protest. I was just gone.

I awoke before dawn. I couldn't see or hear the vampire. I took my chances. I didn't bother looking for my shoes or bag. Luckily for me I'd left my phone at home so I just crept up the stairs from the dingy basement and as soon as I got to the hallway that had impressed me so much last night I just ran straight for the front door and out onto the street. I passed homeless people, policemen and night workers alike and just ran straight past them. I carried on running until I saw a familiar sign. A train station a few miles from my house. Knowing where I was helped a little. I pushed myself a little bit harder and walked through the always unlocked front door...
