31st October 2014.

Standing next to the tableful of foods with a red plastic cup of in my hand and just staring around the party hall, judging at the teenage girls dancing with my eyes.

And those teenagers were some friends of mine.

They did ask me to join them but I refused to. Because when I danced, someone would stop the music and kicked me out of the hall.

I didn't see Tristan around as well. Probably, with his friends or something.

Oh, why did I even bother to know about him?

As I was about to pour some more soda into my cup, my phone suddenly vibrated in my other hand. I set the cup down on the table first before I looked at my phone.

[Fri, 31/10/2014. 23:44] Tristan: You look pretty from afar.

I didn't take my eyes off of the screen and just held my lips from smiling since I knew he was not far away from where I was standing at and replied his text message.

[Fri, 31/10/2014. 23:45]: I think, you just saw a ghost. I look horrible. Please make an appointment with an optician.

[Fri, 31/10/2014. 23:45] Tristan: I saw an angel.

[Fri, 31/10/2014. 23:46]: Technically, you saw a dead Juliet. Both ghost and angel are dead and can't be seen.

[Fri, 31/10/2014. 23:47] Tristan: Smart. Anyway, do you have a plan for tomorrow?

I stared at his text for awhile.

He was asking about tomorrow. But I was planning for one day.

I gulped before sending a reply to him.

Yeah, kind of. I want to tell you about something that might-

No, no, no. Erase it.

There's something going on actually I have to-

No. No more lies.

A sigh slipping out of my mouth.

[Fri, 31/10/2014. 23:49]: I've got a plan for us. Let's meet up tomorrow in the library. Lunch time.

[Fri, 31/10/2014. 23:49] Tristan: Am I dreaming or did my girlfriend just asking me to meet her up in the library, the most quiet, unusually welcoming a lot of people place in the school?

[Fri, 31/10/2014. 23:50]: You're dreaming.

I heard a chuckle next to my ear which made me to turn my head around instantly.

"Fine, let's meet up there," my eyes were widely opened, gaping at him in surprise to see his sudden presence. "Lunch time."

"Yeah," I gulped.

Little did I know, I'd never been this nervous in my life when it came to having a conversation with a guy I was closed to like Tristan.

Something in him changed me.

Then, Tristan walked away from me after glancing at me for the last time and went disappeared into the crowds with my eyes completely stuck at the view of his back.

Right before Zyana came to me.

She looked at what I was looking at after asking a question which I didn't listen to.

"Gwen," Zyana turned my head to face her with her hands cupping my cheeks and patted them.

I battered my eyelashes before coming to my senses and released my cheeks from her hands.
