ANNE POV

Nicole and I walked to our first class the next day. As usual, we're 15 minutes early. Brad and Joe came in after 10 minutes. Brad sat beside me and Joe sat beside Nicole. I smiled inwardly, happy that Brad sat beside me and our plan is working. Brad and I made a plan to hook-up Nicole and Joe, we got everything settled.

"Good morning Anne."

"Good morning to you too. Had a good sleep?"

"Yeah, almost slept-in late."

"So, how's Joe doin'?"

"Head over heels in love with her."

"Really? That fast? Oh God, I need to brainwash Nicole, she's still into you."

I chuckled, low enough so they won't hear me.

"How about I show her that I'm into you? That will distract her, you know."

She thought about it for a moment and then she nodded.

"Okay, I guess that's now part of the plan."

The professor soon arrived and said some topics that we're going to be discussing for the whole semester, he soon hand-picked pairs in the room for our recitation next meeting. I was somehow happy that my partner was Anne, and the great thing was; Joe and Nicole were partners. I looked at Anne and smiled.

"We're partners. When are we going to study?"

"Yeah, maybe Sunday afternoon."

"Yes, we could study in my dorm room. Nicole and Joe could study at yours."

"That's a brilliant idea."

Anne got so excited and said the last sentence quite louder than I expected, louder for Nicole to hear. Nicole turned to Anne and tapped her shoulder.

"What's the brilliant idea?"

"Uhmmm..."

I butted in with the greatest excuse I could think of.

"Anne thought that eating while studying for the big game next meeting was fun," Nicole looked at me and Anne glared at me.

"Seriously, Ann?"

"Uhh, yeah, hearing it from Brad sounded brilliant."

"Ugggh, fine."

She turned back to talk to Joe and I smiled sheepishly at Anne.

"That's the best idea you got?"

"Hey, I was nervous. You're the one who wasn't careful enough."

She rolled her eyes and I found it cute.

Anne, Joe, Nicole, and I were walking along the hallway with both girls in the center. I cleared my throat, ready to start my mission.
